This hotel is an absolute joke!! The only positive is it's great location, but trust me there are many other hotels in the same location to stay at. The hotel stole £385 from my account as a "desposit" which they then insisted they had refunded to my account, however my bank clarified that this was not the case and they...

Very disappointed with this hotel... Had stay at Best Western hotels before and was quite happy with them, but this one is really bad: 1) carpet throughout is in urgent need of replacement, 2) bathrooms are really small with toilet seat made of very cheap plastic and shower curtains (made of material) are black (a first!) 3) breakfast is very,...

The goal was to get a hotel room for 3 people as cheap as possible in a good location. Inexpensive is simply not in the works in Copenhagen, so getting this very spacious triple in a walk-to just about everything locale for much less than other hotels was a coup. Clean, friendly staff, spacious rooms, fantastic location. It even has...

I'm always a bit sceptical of large chain hotels, as I feel that they lack the charm of private places (especially in a city with as much charm and character as Copenhagen) but the Best Western Mercur really surprised me! For a start, the location is great- a 10 minute walk from Copenhagen Central Station (Which is a 20 minute...

This hotel is just by the central train station and ideally located for access to all areas of the city on foot as well as train. The staff are very friendly (even before we arrived they were happy to help by email), the rooms are comfortable and clean and I had no problems with the free wifi at any point...

The location of this hotel is exellent, only a few minutes walk from the shopping street. Surrounded with nice restaurant's and the Tivoli just half a kilometer away. The staff here is friendly and the breakfast had enough choises. Free wifi in rooms is always welcome.

I was in Copenhagen on holiday, mostly because I wanted to see what Scandanvia was like during the winter and to go to some Christmas markets. I went with a friend. I booked a standard double occupancy room with a double bed and a pull out couch. I was given room 525. The front desk service was helpful, and courteous...

What gem of a hotel, the location is the best, five minutes from Central station and two minutes from Tivoli. Just what you are looking for in a city centre hotel. We arrived at 10.30am and went straight to the hotel where the front desk staff were very accommodating, we left our luggage in their secure room. We emailed the...

Stayed in a standard twin room for 2 nights. Location is EXCELLENT! Just on 500m from the Central Station (Kobenhavn H) and minutes from Tivoli Gardens and the rest of the main tourist/central area. Staff at the front desk is excellent - super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Offering scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, meats and cheeses, breads,...

Neighbourhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
