But a comfortable hotel although the room was a on the small side. So, good points, check in and out was efficient and the staff were helpful with advice for dinner. The hotel lobby was clean and tidy. The room itself was small, a double bed, desk and chair, some hanging space and that was it. There was a mini...

Hotel is old and has no restaurants. Plus is that is clean and has good location near canal and 15 minutes to city center. Big minus is that I could hear in early morning when someone was taking bath and it was really loud. Also no climatization in room.

I spent 2 nights at the Strand and found it very comfortable and well located. I took the metro from the airport to town and then walked for 10 minutes to the hotel which is easy to find. The rooms are well equipped and breakfast buffet has everything you may wish. Try the ginger fruit juice at breakfast, it is...

The hotel has a great location. The room was renovated, clean and modern! I have sleeping problems but i was able to sleep quite well, very quite neighborghood. The staff was very nice: reception, booking and breakfast staff. The breakfast quality was very good.i Loved the cinnamon rolls! And it was very cold when i came back in the afternoon...

We chose this notel off the internet and was not disapointed. After arriving there at 8.30am and being told that we did not have a reservation, my wife thought to use the Danish pronouncation of our surname, and then they found the reservation. No worries. We stayed there for 5 days and always found the staff very friendly and helpful....

Took a Friday and Saturday night at the strand hotel . Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, check in was easy and efficient. We upgraded to a larger room as there was 2 adults and 1 child , I thought that this was not worth the 300DK as we seemed not to have much room anyway. Breakfast although no hot...

Awfully small room, only can accommodate one suitcase. We had difficulties in keeping two suitcases in the room. The bed was double size not adequate for two persons and uncomfortable as well. The bathtub was stained. The Room had bad smell as well. Lucky we were out all day and came to the room for sleep only. In my opinion...

My husband and I are travelling Europe. Copenhagen Strand was our 17th hotel stop and it is the worst so far. We chose this hotel because it is a 4 star hotel with a good location. When we saw out room we were shocked, and requested for an upgrade but they told us none was available. The room was so...

The Strand is highly recommendable due to its perfect location overlooking the harbour and is a two minute walk down from Nyhavn, the picturesque row of colourful houses that many associate with the city. Across the bridge from the hotel is Papiroen - a venue hosting international street foods whilst the city centre is also a 5-10 minute walk. We...

This was a short (2 night) break in this great little city. The location of the hotel is the thing that really sells it. A couple of minutes walk from Nyhaven and over-looking the harbour. We decided on upgrades to get a harbour view (a small suite) and it was well worth it. I agree that the hotel is a...

Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
