Stayed a long weekend at the Copenhagen Strand and enjoyed a lot. We stayed on 4th floor in a just updated room which was really nice! Room was fairly small but everything was new, fresh and tidy. Nice bathroom with a bath. I guess most of the economy rooms are facing opposite office building and more valuable rooms to towards...

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Copenhagen Strand. The hotel itself was modern, had a very efficient check in process. We stayed in the economy room, and were pleasantly surprised by its size. Based on other reviews I'd imagined a shoe box of a room but compared to rooms I've stayed in in Nice and New York, the...

This hotel was a great find. Reasonably priced hotel that was clean and provided a varied and tasty breakfast. The staff were friendly and the hotel is modern enough. They key detail that helps this hotel stand out is the location. Right on the waterfront round the corner from Nyhvan and a short walk to the paper island which has...

Stayed here in April with my girlfriend. The hotel was excellent, we had no complaints about any aspect of it! We were in room 5223 (Top floor), and it was fairly small, but this was not an issue for us. It had a little balcony, where you could sit on an evening with a drink; a minibar; HD TV; desk...

Stayed here 4th-6th April 2017. We had a small double room (5508) with breakfast included. The room was tiny but we were there to see the city, not the room. We had a cute little balcony too, and you could just about see the canal at the front of the hotel. The bed was comfy, the room was clean, the...

My room had recently been upgraded so it was very nice and the bathroom was modern. The hotel was in the heart of the city, it was quiet, the breakfast was great and the staff very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend it!

We were on the top floor (5505). Tiny room, but loved the little private balcony! Bathroom with shower. Small minibar, decent size flat screen television hanging on the wall with quite a good selection of channels. Friendly staff. Didn't have breakfast included and were not prepared to pay 140 DKK per person for a slice of bread and some musli,...

Hotel with a view if you ask for the right room. The Hotel is currently under renovation, but there were no issues. The staff were friendly and the hotel has a nice restaurant and bar area where you can relax after a day out in town. The room was nicely equipped with the typical daily necessities and there is also...

Neighbourhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
