There were four of us that stayed in one of the rooms with two double beds. Room was very spacious and just what we needed - bigger than the rooms looked in pictures. Great location, about 2 minutes from the train station and a lot of places easily accessible. Everyone was very helpful in the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

Room 510, top floor. The room was quite spacious and exceptionally clean, the bathroom in need of an uplift, water stains on the ceiling, the shower piping leaked. but it was still in a very usable condition. The Staff were amazing and very knowledgeable of the city. The breakfast room could do with being a little larger at a push...

Room spacious and clean. Modern trappings. Very nice breakfast. Staff helpful. Everyone speaks English. Location excellent, but a bit dicey--prostitutes abound in neighborhood, but are not aggressive except with single men. Exterior noise not exceptional for central city location. Would happily return.

This hotel is centrally located one street back from the Central railway station and easy walking to all the main attractions. The hotel is very old and probably overdue for a facelift but it is quite comfortable. Front desk staff friendly and helpful, the one senior (seemed to me to be in charge) breakfast staff was rude and less than...

Stayed here in December 2014. Brilliant value for money. Really close to train station and everything is walking distance. Room was clean and good size. The breakfast in the morning is really good, vut the dining room is small so if there is a group of you try and get to the breakfast room early to avoid waiting for a...

We stayed in the Hotel Du Nord as we wanted to visit the Christmas market in Tivoli Gardens, It is very close to Tivoli. We got the train in from the airport. The train is located on the lower level of the airport arrivals hall and will take you to Copenhagen Central, in less than 15 minutes. The hotel is...

This is a nice friendly hotel right in the heart of Copenhagen, in easy walking distance of the cities main attractions. My room was roomy comfortable and even though cold outside my room was comfortably warm. The staff are generally friendly and greeted me by name when I came down for breakfast in the morning. The breakfast is a cold...

Very well located for Central Station and Tivoli gardens... possibly slightly on the pricey side; rooms felt a bit basic and could possibly do with renewal in the next few years, but staff were very knowledgable, kind and helpful. Stage lack of bath plug in my room took me back to travels behind the iron curtain in the seventies, but...

I must give credit to the spacious room that gives you a lot of breathing space,.The place is trying hard to keep its old glory, but the carpets and drapes are tired. So with the staff who are a bit too stiff, except for the evening lady at the front desk. The location , which is close to the central...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
