The hotel was great, but the room was very warm. No air circulation let to a poor night sleep. Loved the happy hour. Location was great just a few blocks away from the train station. Within walking distance off most major attractions.

Thanks a lot for your positive review. We are sorry that you experienced such a hot night. We do however have fans in the cupboards, which hopefully could send a cool breeze. In Copenhagen people use to sleep with a window open. In regards of AC, please take into account that the weather seldom is hot at our latitudes. Nobody...

Good location by the side of a lake. A reasonable walking distance to metro station, passby a very good food market! Everything is OK, except the breakfast sounds fairly expensive (though was told marvelous).

Thank you so much for your review. We know the price level in Copenhagen unfortunately is somewhat high, but the breakfast buffet at Hotel Kong Arthur is at the same price level as other 4 star hotels. And we use mostly organic produce, which is more costly. We are looking forward to welcoming you again in the future! All the...

I hotel Kong Arthur was a lovely place to stay while we visited Copenhagen. The location was within walking distance of the Metro and train, Rosenburg Castle and National art museum. There are numerous restaurants in neighborhood and a charming canal with swan boats. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. A great place to...

Room was adequate but tired looking. Upholstery was stained; soap bars not replaced, light bulbs our and not fixed. Cozy hour provided free alcoholic drinks but no non alcoholic and no as advertised "seasonal snacks." Also breakfast not included. Staff very nice though...

Great location and ambiance, feel! Small room and small bathroom, but it was perfectly fine. Staff was fantastic. Breakfast was pretty good! Nice bar and lounge area. Conveniently close to some good restaurants and Torvehallerne (food court) and the metro.

Wonderful to read you nice words. We are really glad to know that you enjoyed it here. We do however have rooms of many sizes. If you booked an economy double, it's a quite small room. It's meant for those who wish to save on accomodation and perhaps spend more in the city. I would advice you to maybe book...

We stayed for 4 nights and were upgraded on arrival to a suite which was very nice. The room was lovely and the bed the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The staff were ALL friendly and helpful. We initially thought that breakfast was very expensive albeit delicious, but after having breakfast out one morning, we realised that actually it...

The Hotel Kong Arthur is an extended set of connected older buildings with a nice inner courtyard for outdoor seating for breakfast and happy hour. The tallest building is about 6 floors, and the buildings are well constructed so that you did not hear noise from your neighbors. The hotel has a nice tradition of happy hour from 5 to...

Really enjoyed my stay here. Very pleasing decor, design, and character. Room was a tad on the small side but just meant everything was close to hand and no danger of spreading out. Welcoming staff and great location to meander along the river.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Kong Arthur is situated right between the beautiful inner lakes of Copenhagen and the buzzing downtown, only 15 min. from the airport by metro. The style is exclusive and modern with a hint of medieval - we call it a mix of rustic and chic. The atmosphere is cozy and informal: A lit fireplace, comfy sofas, pillows in the window sill, a stack of books on the shelves, beautiful courtyards adorned with green plants, cobbles and a unique peacefulness. ... more   less
