Good hotel at a good location, everything in town was in walking distance. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful and even offered us a free upgrade to a suite. The rooms were lovely and clean with a good view from the balcony. Would definitely recommend this place

The location suited us well - it's on the edge of a residential, tree lined and attractive street, so quiet, but very close to main road, transport and lots of shops. A nearby small street had a street market on Saturday and boasted two very agreeable restaurants. The room was not large, but clean and comfortable with all the basics....

Very nice hotel for week-long solo stay before cruise. My single room was small, as expected, but not so small that I couldn't move around comfortably with three suitcases. My room location was quiet and very private. Staff was lovely and always ready to help with any request. I especially liked that it was on a quiet street in a...

For a short stay in Copenhagen, I picked a centrally located hotel. Coming here, I was honestly quite surprised, this is absolutely not a cheap hotel, but premises are quite basic and rooms are very simple and in my opinion does not really live up to such an extended price. A hotel that cost me more than 2500 NOK for...

You need 10-15' walk to the Central station; breakfast is tasty and well-presented; all hotel people were extremely kind but the room was extremely small with a small step to get into the rest room which was 'encapsulated' in the room. Bad luck, the weather in Copenhagen was above any expectation hot for this period of the year and there...

Stayed here for 3 nights recently. During a hot time but we had a Deluxe room facing street. Very delightful though the price was high but it was high season thus we paid it. Breakfast was ample but not outstanding. This hotel is a value for the price charged as long as you get the Deluxe room. Certainly not spacious...

We stayed here for 4 nights. It was conveniently located. Breakfast was included in the price and was pretty good. The hotel was relatively quiet but uncomfortably hot with no air conditioning. Rooms are small and the showers are a squeeze. Most of the staff were friendly, however one of the managers bordered on being downright nasty. One afternoon 4...

Small hotel in a quite place, walking distance to the Central station and the old town. Very small rooms, but the price affordable, good value for money. Breakfast very basic. Staff friendly and helpful.

Hotel Sct. Thomas is nice and somewhat anonymous. Breakfast is ok, nothing spectacular. But it is fairly cheap for Copenhagen and the location is great. The staff is helpful and accomodating and they all seem to be ready to crack a joke or make a funny remark.

The hotel is located about 15 minutes walking distance from Central station and Tivoli Gardens. The interior of the hotel is modern, clean and decorated with beautiful handmade lights (hotel guests can buy them with 15% discount from the next shop). The staffs were friendly and helpful. The size of double bedroom, the toilet and bathroom is small but okay....

Staying in Frederiksberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Frederiksberg
Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here there are several fine theaters, from the experimental to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which specializes in transcribing the great London and New York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find Denmark’s most beautiful (and expensive) city villas. These 4-5 square miles form the Beverly Hills of Copenhagen. Here you’ll also find Frederiksberg Have (Garden) which sports huge outdoor concerts, from classical to electronic dance music. To top it off, dining options range from cozy family restaurants to some of the area’s most trendy cafés.
