First of all this is not a hotel, better to call it hostel. It's a horrible property, very high priced, small old rooms, smaller toilet, Third class breakfast. No place to keep luggage, no towel rack, not even proper screen to protect light. Practically we...More
Hotel is about 30 mins drive from Airport, taxi cost around 350 DKK, you can get train direct but not sure of cost. Reception is small and guy behind desk checked us in with little fuzz although a smile may of been nice.
The one star is for the location. Bang in the centre. But the rest is hideous: £150/night for a hole with a single bed, dirty and uncomfortable bed. grumpy staff, mediocre breakfast with not enough space for people to sit. Will not bother next time
I booked this hotel by mistake thinking it was the excellent Hotel City opposite. The Maritime is more like a student hostel than a hotel. The rooms desperately need some paint, new carpets, better cleaning and repairs to the infrastructure.

We stayed here for a weekend city break and had 3 great nights in this lovely City. The hotel is in a good location and although quite basic, it is clean, comfortable and warm considering how bitterly cold it was outside!! The breakfast was lovely...More
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding
neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
