We enjoyed our four night stay here and particularly liked how easy it was to find from all modes of transport. The shared bathroom is kept very neat and tidy and there was always a shower or toilet available even though the place was busy. The only reason I couldn't give them more stars is because I am a non...

I stayed in this hostel for three nights in a shared room/dormitory (female). The hostel is located far from the city and is surrounded by nature which is quite and peace. There are two bunk beds and a single bed in the room which can accommodate up to 5 persons. However, there were only three power sockets in the room...

Modern, clean, spacious, peaceful, easily accessible. Popular. Well equipped kitchen. Good public transport options to reach city centre. 5 - 10 minutes walk to bus stop, and 10 mins walk to metro. Great TV and sitting room on first floor.

The Danhostel network is excellent and this was the newest and most attractive of the hostels I stayed at. Prices in Denmark are high for accommodation and Copenhagen is stratospheric. This worked out at about £70 for 2 nights which is phenomenally reasonable. Be careful reserving on line because I requested 2 nights in a single room and the web...

Great place to stay if you are wanting to visit Copenhagen. The staff are very friendly we arrived late at night and were dealt with quick and efficiently. The kitchen has a number of hobs, two kettles, two microwaves, a toaster, three very large fridges and cupboard space to store food. Lots of tables and a bbq area outside. Dishes...

Staff were friendly and the hostel was very modern. We had a twin room ensuite which was great. The kitchen is nice, we opted to use their pots, pans and crockery. Paid a 10 krona deposit and got it back after we returned them. You could also use their sheets, however I do not know if it was a deposit...

We only had to stay one night, luckily, but didn't feel like this hotel was fit for a group. The rooms were good enough for the price, but only talking apperently made the neighbours wake up. The breakfast wasn't good and the servics could have been better. If you want something cheap without expectation, this is a great choice.

We can only recommend this hotel: very friendly (german speaking) staff, delicious breakfast, cozy, clean rooms! Great place to go with families and the city center is easy to reach by bus or by bicycles that you can rent ad hoc. What do you need more?

My overall stay at the hostel is very positive. I stayed for 3 nights in a private double room. The room was clean and the entrance is nice. The staff gives you a nice welcome and answers every question you might have. There were three things i was nog so happy about. 1. the rooms are not very soundproof. If...

Staying in Amager

Neighbourhood Profile
Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
