We stayed in August for two nights in this hostel and it was more than enough, there are only three showers for men for everyone in this hostel which you couldn't really call spot clean! Busy kitchen, especially around dinner time. encounterings with sinks containing vomit and number 2 filled toilet bowls are possible. Expect no own socket so bring...

Very cheap so I didn't really expect much. The dorms weren't great, the place in general was quite crowded, the showers were way down in the basement and were pretty dirty - as were the toilets, and the staff at the door were pretty rude. But again, it was the cheapest place going so none of it really bothered me...

Over crowded, expensive and not secure. If your travelling around Europe for the first time do not stay here. everything about this hostel is terrible. You have minimal room to move if you're in the bottom bunk. IF you stay in the top bunk the lights and fans are right above. You will wake up every time it turns on...

Well, it's the cheapest hostel we could find in Copenhagen. The location is good, near to train station. We stayed in a 65 person dorm, which is too much people, the door is not locked, so anyone can just walk into the dorm. The 'double decker' bed is just one single bed stacked on top of another, so not much...

I feel like most people who complain about places like this don't actually bother reading reviews and stuff before booking it. I read the reviews, so I was completely aware of all the hostel's "faults" before I made the decision to book e.g. I read you had to pay more for linen so I brought my own linen (I was...

Positives: It is a quick walk to get to from the main train station. That's it. Negatives: Everything else. You had to pay extra for linens and pillows, so me and my boyfriend had to use our bags as a pillow and towels as a cover since we were on a budget. The rooms have no security, not even a...

When we arrived the man at reception was rude and not helpful. You have to pay extra for linens and pillows and he overcharged us by 60Euros, although we eventually got our proper change. If you want to feel like you are in a jail barracks this hostel is for you. The rooms, washrooms and showers are dirty and not...

The thing, that I had to sleep wih 22 people was not bad as the thing, that only one european electric plu was there. I could charge my phone only in lobby. Bathrooms were located two floors and ca. 100m away. Personal not very serious/for me uncomfortable. Once was key system broken in the main door and receptionist was only...

This hostel is about a 15 minute walk from the station and is a in a good location around various supermarkets and bars. The hostel has good toilets and showers which are regularly cleaned. The kitchen had great facilities. There are lockers in the room to use. (You do need to bring your own or rent sheets). Unfortunately I can't...

The 66-buddies room, was OK, but the lockers are very easy to open by pulling strongly. I didn't use it because of it. Bed wasn't clean at all, full of breadcrumbs and a guy was "relaxed" on my bed when I first arrived. The night is really ugly. Noises like a big machine comes from the outside, without stop. And...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
