The hotel is good, but the lack of air conditioning in the rooms - which seems to be common in Denmark - bothered us a little bit, as we were in summer and the weather was really hot. To keep the room more airy, we left the window open, but we came across spiders in the room at night. The...

This is a cozy and nice hotel The restaurant serves both breakfast and dinner and the food is very good. Friendly staff welcomes us. For a shorter or longer stay, absolutely worth a visit. If you want to stay a little outside central Copenhagen, this is very nice. It's located in a small suburb with a lot of shops, restaurants...

We had a lovely stay at Gentofte Hotel, travelled with my brother and dad, and Gentofte had three well maintained single rooms on the same floor which worked out great. Breakfast is excellent and staff always happy to help. especially the wonderful Portuguese waitress at breakfast. Check in was efficient and fast. We hired a car so great with the...

Without the staff this would have been rated a two. The hotel is worn and the rooms are very small. Alert : there is no air conditioning. The breakfast buffet is good for the price. The train into Copenhagen is a few blocks away.. We arrived early and they cleaned our room early so we could check in. They even...

The Hotel Gentofte is in a brilliant area; close to Hellerup, the beach, town. A Joe and the Juice and a couple of bakeries 2 mins away for breakfast, lunch. But the beds are SO small. Hard to get comfy. And we were there when it was very hot and the rooms were airless. They have absolutely NO mod cons....

Like most Scandinavian hotels massively over priced for what you get. Basic rooms, free wifi, buffet breakfast. In serious need of an upgrade but clean and tidy. Limited evening restaurant. Would only stay again if other hotels are even more expensive!

The hotel is situated about seven minutes walk from Gentofte station. If you want a hotel for visiting Copenhagen, perhaps this hotel is a little bit far from the city but if you coming by car or want to be in a calm area, perhaps the hotel can be interesting. The hotel is by my opinion a three-star hotel. It's...

The other reviews are correct: it's a little old fashioned and it's pretty basic but it does what it does really well. Fast and friendly reception staff and rooms with keys!!! Yes, actual keys :) room was clean, beds super comfy, TV and good selection of toiletries. No bath and a shower tray thing but it was hot, if not...

Stayed here for one night for a business trip. Outside of the building looks a bit old fashioned, but you get a very warm welcome. Room was clean and tidy, Internet connection was very slow. I did not eat at the restaurant but the prices looked about fair. I did eat breakfast which was average. Personally I think it was...

Stayed here two nights at the start of working here for 7mths. Was not impressed by most of the things the hotel has to offer! Unfriendly reception front of house staff. The room was BASIC I have stayed in better BnB's or Travel lodges in uk! The double bed was 2 singles pushed together. There was no kettle or tea/coffee...
