I stayed repeatedly in this hotel. It is modern and convenient, very practical. This time they had broken boiler, so we were shocked into the day with a cold shower, but it was quickly fixed. Hotel services are great, we have not had any issues at all. Breakfast selection is wide, make sure you skip their regular coffee, which is...

We are very pleased to receive a review from one of our regular guests. Wonderful, with the possible feedback despite the broken boiler during your last stay. I am sorry that the regular coffee has disappointed you I will make sure to pursue this to our restaurant. We are looking forward to seeing you again at Copenhagen Island Hotel. Anne...

I've had the misfortune to stay in Copenhagen Island for two nights this week and I urge you to avoid this hotel at all costs. It's terrible. Where to start? The rooms are tiny - and if you get the wrong side, they overlook a busy motorway fifty metres away. In some of the rooms the central heating doesn't work...

I am very sorry to learn about your dissatisfaction with the hotel and the room you stayed in during your stay. We do have different room categories and we always try to accommodate the different expectations our guests may have.. Just spent 2 nights in this hotel in copenhagen and I am very pleased with the hotel! The rooms are modern and comfortable with everything you need to spend a few nights! The location is great on the waterfront and just a 15 min walk from the city centre or you can go by train the train station is 5...

On the map it may seen far out of the centre but don't be fooled. It is adjacent to a shopping mall, which is very convenient for grabbing breakfast or picking up snacks for the room as there is a super market on the ground floor of it. Hotel staff were only too happy to help in any matter, recommending...

I was a little wary of reserving this hotel because it looked like it was a bit far from all of the tourist attractions I wanted to see. Turned out to not be the case at all! It was very easy to get to from the airport taking the train, and the one and only time I had to take...

We booked the room with the harbour view which was fantastic to wake up to. The hotel was very modern looking and clean, it was just about 10 minutes walking distance to the center of the city and just besides an amazing shopping mall. The service was the best part , on the last night the room service messed up...

Guess the headline says it all, location is nice, but service, rooms and the rest of the hotel is not really worth it. Parking is almost impossible, and if you´re not very carefull you´ll get a parking fine just out front, we did, we were not told by the hotel staff that parking wasn´t allowed. Not going back

I have stayed a few times at the Copenhagen Island while on business trips. The hotel is conveniently located, 10 minutes walk from the central station and next door to Fisketorvet, Copenhagen'´s largest shopping mall. Hotel is located perfectly for the transfer from the airport via the train. Takes about 20 mins and the train stops a short walk up the steps and over the bridge. Cheap as chips. Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
