First visit to Kiruna, Sweden. The hotel was pre-booked by meeting organisers. Arriving quite late - satnav guided nicely in darkness. Parking was easy but finding reception a little more difficult. Having found it the staff was welcoming and friendly. The rooms were in another building but only ten meters apart. Opening the door to the room put a smile...

I loved the atmosphere at first sight. When we checked in the two ladys at the reception were so nice and helpful, they gave us a room that had an extra bed for our daughter even if we had booked a double bedroom. When we told the that we would leave before breakfast the next morning they offered us to...

Nice hotel, wood and big windows in an anonymous cold town. Good: breakfast very rich, nice rooms; less good: rooms not in the same building as breakfast, and if it's cold- almost always- you need to put on warm clothes to have breakfast; heating in our room didn't work, they provided us with an electric heater, which was not sufficient...

The answer to the above question is, "when you book with the Hotel Artic Eden. We booked a double room through Hotels.com. When we arrived there we were put in a room with two single beds that had 3 inch foam mattresses on a bed base (that is apparently what they classify as a bed here). We contacted reception and...

We upgraded to the room with a spa and sauna which was VERY expensive. The rooms were a bit old and dusty and the cleaning person does not do a thorough job day to day. Beds were very comfortable, and the gym is very well equipped. Pool is way too cold - not usable. Spa and sauna in our room...

I booked on Booking.com and it was my 4th choice in Kiruna, the other hotels were too expensive or sold out, and I didn't regret it! It's a nice, quite, cosy and warm hotel. It has free wifi, gym, swimming pool, parking lot and two restaurants. In the afternoon it offers free coffee and tea. Very nice, at least when...

Stayed here several times, it is a old school house but done into big rooms. Rooms are dark enough for the summer and at the same time you can open the curtains up to get the light in. However on bad thing is that you can not open the window. So no fresh air. Showers in the toilet does not...

It's more like a campground you find when you're in high school with a cot and no phone in your room. only dinner choice is the thai restaurant next door that serves soppy stir fry noodles. Choices are slim, you might as well camp outdoors.

Large hotel in former school. Rooms comfortable with flat screen TV & wi fi. We didn't use the pool, gym or sauna but we had a look and they seemed quite well equipped. However we could hear weights being "dropped" at regular intervals which resonated throughout the hotel from the basement gym and was extremely irritating. Hotel is convenient for...

This "hotel" was a weird experience, with barely another guest or hotel staff in sight during our 2 night stay. Perhaps that is why it is listed under B& B, although it still calls itself a Hotel. The reception has been relocated to the restaurant in the adjacent building, and you are provided with a check in "envelope" on arrival....
