We consider ourselves avid travelers and we just had to write this review. This Hotel is lovely. Fun decor and a kind staff. The location is perfect. The restaurant is a MUST! Hands down one of our favorite places. And if you are lucky enough to meet Doris on the night shift. She was hands down a real treat to...

I would give the Lydmar a 6 rating if tripadvisor allowed. Stop researching and just book the Lydmar now, I could not recommend this hotel more. Our stay here was absolutely perfect and made for an incredible trip to Stockholm. We booked through Amex FHR and were upgraded upon arrival to the large street king which was exceptional. The room...

Lovely, welcoming hotel with high quality interior. Having booked an upgraded room we were shown to a room next to the restaurant / bar area that was clearly going to be noisy and didn't match expectations. We politely challenged the room selection & the hotel moved us to the correct room which was large, very well furnished and whisper quiet...

We loved our recent stay at the Lydmar. The hotel is a quaint boutique hotel on the waterfront. The room was very comfortable, quiet with excellent service. The location is perfect for exploring the city. We walked everywhere, from Gamla Stan, to city shopping, and over to where the Vasa and Abba museums are located. There is also public transportation...

Very cool and attentive staff. They know well the city and gave us great addresses. The main entrance terrace has a fantastic atmosphere on sunny days and is a perfect place...

Wonderful hotel with good sized bedrooms and well thought out bathroom. Comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant one evening - it was very nice, food was hot and service was good. Good location and within easy walking distance of most attractions and areas. Not cheap, but worth the money as the staff and facilities were very good. The only...

This is a really special and unique hotel. It feels like a private club. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again without hesitation. Choosing the Lydmar was an essential part of our Stockholm experience. I wish I could find places like this in every city. The gym is right next door at the Grand, just...
