Wonderfully helpful staff (who can all make an excellent coffee in the morning!). Beautiful interiors and photography up on the wall. The food was really great too - they even went out of their way to seat us on Valentine's day when the restaurant was fully booked.

I'm never entirely sure what to expect when I book a hotel. The photos are never enough to establish a real context for the property or the room. I booked Lydmar for the good reviews and great location. The hotel exceeded my expectations: the hotel staff was welcoming, helpful, and kind. The building itself is beautiful, with beautifully decorated and...

We found this place by searching for nice places in Trip Advisor. And the excellent reviews were absolutely true. Our room was incredible. The decoration fascinating and nice. And it was so quiet which is very important for us. The restaurant is excellent too, the food delicious. The wine, however, was good but could have been even better, I think....

The hotel is well laid out with lots of different places to sit and have your tea or a drink. The restaurant is delicious and the bar offers innovative cocktails and a nice selection. This is a lovely “Cool” hotel in a great Location. Great staff and uber helpful, nothing is too much trouble and the Food and Beverage is limited but very good. Very nice breakfast and a nice vibe in the bar in the evening. This is now 50% owned by the Grand Hotel (next door) so you have free access to...

Fantastic hotel in a really very pleasant city. My wife, 18 month old daughter and I had the pleasure of staying in the Lydmar Hotel for 3 nights last week. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel extremely welcome and we're treated like old friends. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed,...

Can a hotel be both cozy AND funky? I mean, cosy means chinzy, yes, and how can that be funky? Or, by funky, do you refer to mind-boggling technology regarding curtains, switches....etc? At the Lydmar on Friday evening , the atmosphere was definitely funky, my 26-year old son assured me. Lots of beautiful people, great cocktails, and someone behind a...

We stayed in a Medium king room which was very spacious with a living area and beautifully furnished and decorated. The view of the city from the porthole in our room was gorgeous. The hotel is buzzy throughout the day with djs, great music and a mix of locals, families and hotel residents in the bar & restaurant. We enjoyed...

We have stayed at the Lydmar Hotel before and each time has been as great or even better then the last time. It has a prime location just a short walk away from the shopping and restaurant districts in Stockholm as well as being close to the national museum and the museum of modern art at Skeppsholmen. The restaurant feels...
