I stayed in room 403 with my wife for one night and we are very pleased with the comfort and ambiance of the room and hotel. The situation is excellent, just next to the royal castle, the modern museum of arts, the nature reserve Djurgården...More
What a boutique hotel should be like, in fact, what any hotel should be like! The Lydmar is a lovely hotel, small, charming, cozy and intimate. The decoration has been done by human beings rather than a corporation. The rooms are well appointed and very...More

Centrally located to walk to the old and new town and right on the waterfront, the hotel Lydmar excelled in all ways. The great art and decor, the super helpful staff, the lovely food and great rooms. what more can we say, top notch.
Norrmalm is Stockholm’s most central and busiest neighborhood. It’s home to the main shopping street, Drottninggatan, and to Stockholm icons like the Sergels Torg glass obelisk, the famous Hay Market with its Carl Milles sculptures, and the Hötorget Skyscrapers, a sight on every other Stockholm postcard. Norrmalm is also home to Sweden’s most traditional department stores Nordiska Kompaniet and
Åhléns City juxtaposed with Stockholm’s most modern shopping mall, Mood Stockholm. Visitors to this area get to experience the unique Swedish philosophy of protecting cultural heritage while also staying on top of fashion innovation and modern architecture.
