I haven't found a hostel yet with management that cares about the guests more than what I have found at Crafoord. The hostel has a nice intimate family feel to it. A lot of hostels in Stockholm are on the first floor or underground, but Crafoord is situated on the 8th floor and it gives you a great view of...

We stayed in Crafoord place for 2 nights and because we have car they accept car in their parking space. Which is useful especially in capital city. accommodation is backpacker style on the 8th floor which has many young people as well as family. Very clean and our window overlooking the Grand Central station which is 25 minutes walk away....

Booked in this hostel hoping it will be comfortable , and do laundry as we were travelling for weeks , crammed bathrooms no self service laundry , Stayed there for 3 nights , there are numerous annoying rules posted everywhere on walls which makes you uncomfortable

Best place I have ever stayed in. Much better than a hotel. Place is quiet and clean, very well organised and a great place to make friends. You'll meet the friendliest people and will not regret staying there. Not noisy and has everything you need within walking distance. Could not be better. Thanks to everyone for such an amazing stay! Fantastic hostel. Really great location, far enough away from the centre to be really quiet but close enough to walk into with ease. Great atmosphere, really sociable and friendly residents and staff. Clean, spacious kitchen. Incredibly comfortable beds, brilliant views from bedrooms. Watch out for the small % charge on paying cash though, can be an issue if you have...

Fantastic and cosy hostel. The staff was friendly and helpful, it was in a great location (no more than 15 minutes to the Palace). Also reasonably priced, keeping in mind we're talking about Scandinavia here. Very clean and well organised as well.

I stayed here with two friends in a private room. The room was good value for money in relation to other Stockholm prices and the hostel was clean, with good showers and working WiFi. The best part of this hostel was the communal area with cooking facilities and free tea and coffee. This made it easy to meet other travellers...

This is one of the most relaxing places I’ve ever stayed in (just 10 minutes walk from central station). very clean (every where), staff are nice, polite, lovely, helpful and professional! Small kitchen but very clean and well organised. Storage room equipped with lockers, shower & restroom (which is exceptional comparing to the other hostels). Highly recommended to any type...

Very nice staff, very good hostel, good people. But then you have to remember this is a hostel, you can't expect luxury. Not very close to the sight seeings such as Gamla Stan. Could be slightly uneasy to find. Other than that, it's quite clean and friendly.

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
