My wife and I spent five days in Stockholm for Christmas this year, and were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Skeppsholmen. The hotel was well appointed, clean, and provided us a consistent good night's rest. However, the best aspect was the location. Being in the Center of City, while still being on a quite island has several advantages....

A lovely hotel situated on a small island minutes from all the sights and sounds Stockholm has to offer. In keeping with Swedish values, this hotel personifies understated luxury and modern design whilst cleverly preserving its historic heritage. My children (14 & 20) fell in love with this place and have demanded that we return, not least, to enjoy the...

We loved our stay at Skeppsholmen. The hotel is such a unique property having been a former military barracks and you could tell that they have really taken care to keep that unique part while also updating for luxury. Our basic room was huge, especially for European standards, the bed was comfy, and a nice little view of the lake....

Stayed for a long weekend and we loved this place. Comfortable, stylish yet functional rooms situated in two buildings, this place is a real hideaway in the middle of a vibrant city. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet every bit as good as advertised. We would recommend and look forward to returning.

We had a lovely time in Stockholm, the food is lovely with lots of tasty treats to be found. The location is easy to access and not far from the centre of everything. The views are very green and the rooms clean, you would need a magnifying glass to find any anything.

A week ago my wife and I finished a two day visit to Hotel Skeppsholmen. We had decided to visit Sweden to see the Christmas season and especially the Christmas Markets. I chose this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews and it's proximity to both Skansen and Gamla Stan. It was absolutely perfect. Located at the end of the island...

Everybody loves this place, and - why not? The rooms are spacious and immaculately maintained, the service is excellent, the breakfast buffet has a wide selection and is luxurious, dinners here are wonderful; anyplace else this would be a fantastic self-sufficient shoreline resort! Skeppsholmen is an island about a 15-minute walk to town, the island houses the modern art museum...

Loved this hotel. Staff were really helpful both prior to and during the trip. The location is stunning and the old town is either a 10 minutes walk or a 3 minute ferry ride.
