We checked into the Grand Hotel for a romantic evening for two (without kids) - and we could not have been more impressed! The spa is all sorts of wonderful and our room had clearly been planned to the proverbial T. Everything was handy and of the highest standard. The bathtub...I could write haikus about this bathtub. But suffice to...

Had a one night stay for a conference in the hotel. This place oozes class and elegance and is surprising well equipped given its age. Location is unrivalled, especially when the weather is good. I had an interior room without a view - still cost silly money - which suffered badly from works in the immediate vicinity.Front desk and breakfast...

The Grand hotel is a busy 5 star deluxe hotel and in a great location on the waterfront. We had afternoon tea in the Cadier bar. The tea was their own brand and tasted delicious and there was a good selection of sanwiches, pastries and scones.

When visiting Stockholm, I can't think of a better place to say. Classic furnishings and appointments screams out old world elegance. From the crystal chandeliers down to a professional staff that bends over backwards to see to it that your every wish is fulfilled. It was a great way to start off our trip.

I recently stayed at the Grand Hotel from May 1st through to May 5th. Although, for a high end hotel, when you come upon it, it doesn't look so much as that form the outside, but once through the revolving doors, you understand why most of the dignitaries, musicians and famous folks all stay here. The décor, in my humble...

The location is amazing. The rooms are comfortable and modern. There are enough outlets in the rooms for those of us who take every bit of electronics with us. The staff is, for the most part, exceptional. The rooms with a view are more expensive, but if you like a great view from a room, they would be worth it....

This is truly one of the most exceptional hotels in the world. No, I'm not kidding. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. While the building is very old, it has been kept in great condition and retro-fitted when possible. The rooms are classic with exceptionally comfortable beds and are well appointed. The bathrooms in the single rooms are...

Ask for the larger, deluxe room with Old Town/ Palace view, it is well worth it. A normal room is quite small if you are on a longer trip. The staff were very friendly , helpful & accommodating. You just May be surprised who you MAY see in the Lounge.
