This is the first bad review I am writing about a five Star Hotel. It never had been necessary before. But the Grand Hotel in Stockholm had been a real disappointment. Yes, I am a spoiled guest. Spoiled by the best Hotels in the world....More
Not to be off-topic here, but my first impression when walking into this hotel was "Is everyone who works here gorgeous?" Honestly, the Swedes and employees of this hotel are all good looking! And even better news, they are all very service-oriented and professional.
We stayed 3 nights over New Years in a room overlooking the waterfront. The room itself was pretty dated, but it was functional and it was good to have a view of the fireworks without having to go down onto the waterfront in the rain...More
I booked a junior suite for two nights and spend new year's eve in Stockholm.
The room is large and confortable with a private living room and a bedroom.
No view as per clearly indicated in the booking but very calm and excellent bed
We had a room on the 6th floor, although it was a little small. There was a stunning double, very large with a beautiful modern bathroom. Good buffet breakfast meant that there were a lot of people at breakfast time. I ended up with one...More
Norrmalm is Stockholm’s most central and busiest neighborhood. It’s home to the main shopping street, Drottninggatan, and to Stockholm icons like the Sergels Torg glass obelisk, the famous Hay Market with its Carl Milles sculptures, and the Hötorget Skyscrapers, a sight on every other Stockholm postcard. Norrmalm is also home to Sweden’s most traditional department stores Nordiska Kompaniet and
Åhléns City juxtaposed with Stockholm’s most modern shopping mall, Mood Stockholm. Visitors to this area get to experience the unique Swedish philosophy of protecting cultural heritage while also staying on top of fashion innovation and modern architecture.

The property does allow non-hotel guests to purchase access to the gym/pool/spa area. Cost changes with membership type and length. It was not inexpensive, but the facilities are wonderful - no pain, no gain!

Yes, you can. I did a month ago! If you have already left, I hope they can help you anyway if you call or write to them. The pillow I bought came flat, so they take out what extra air they can. I love this pillow, never har better. Expensive, though, but worth it. The bedlinen is also expensive, but a great comfort :). Enjoy!
