My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights for a birthday celebration in Stockholm. The hotel is less than 15 minutes away from central Stockholm on the t-bana, near restaurants and a large supermarket. We stayed on the 3rd floor, which meant we were close to the terrace, which was lovely, quiet and cosy, but you could play music...

My husband and I stayed there for 4 nights. We were much satisfied and thankful to the hotel reception staff for the best service that we had. As we came from tropical country, the weather in May is still very cold for us. When we said we felt cold as the central heating system shut down at night, the lady...

We spent there 4 nights. We booked a mini studio - very modern and comfortable room with fully equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, cooker) which gives some options to prepare your own food if you wish, especially having in mind prices in Stockholm. However the price of the room was quite high (400 euros per 4 nights), but still, high room...

Before booking this place, I searched everywhere for a decent affordable hotel not too far from the city center and transport. I found this and to my surprise my boyfriend liked it too (he is so fussy). It was a 10min walk to the train station and the bus (flygbussarna which is the company) from Arlanda airport stopped just in...

We chose this hotel because we wanted a kitchenette. This is one of the best and professionally managed apartment and hotel. This is not a house converted for commercially use but a professionally managed apartment for travellers who like to cook or on longer duration stay. It is in a very quite neighbourhood with a supermarket near by. It is...

I stayed here for 2 nights for business. While clean and no nonsense. I found this place lacked character and felt like I was in a university or storage unit dorm. Cheap and the staff are helpful, only a tapas place to eat and if you want to go into Stockholm then get a cab as not near anything decent...

This hotel is a very nice one to stay at. Located near a MAXI which is great for doing your supermarket shopping. Rooms were nice, nothing fancy to be honest. My favourite feature- Microwave and fridge! Made me so happy! The staff were very helpful. We made multiple bookings and there was a bit of confusion but they were able...

(1) From Sky apartment easy walk to Metro stations and Supermarket. (2) Breakfast is OK. (3) Indian, Thai, Italian and Local restaurants in range of .5 to 1 KM radius. (4) They have no facility for dine in, and surprisingly they don't know the on call delivery arrangements from nearby restaurants. (5) They clean room once a week 😳!(they don't...

This hotel is located in Kungsholmen/Lindshagen. I booked it every time my friends visited me as it s fairly located to our place. The location is not extraordinary if you are first time in Stockholm. I'd say it is greatly connected to downtown and if you wanna spare yourself from the high prices downtown is convenient. It's very clean and...

The hotel is strongly oriented for money making. Each additional request will be charged. The sizing of the room allow to place at list two additional beds to the smallest room, but because of the “hotel policy” you can rent two unreasonably big rooms instead of one. Hotel is placed far from the city center but walking distance 7 min...

Staying in Kungsholmen

Neighbourhood Profile
Kungsholmen
Kungsholmen is one of the largest islands in central Stockholm and one of the most popular places to live. Its most famous attraction is Stockholm’s City Hall, which stands out with its monumental architecture and is one of the most photographed buildings in Sweden. Kungsholmen has its own little city center and shopping mall, its own beach and a lovely pedestrian area next to the water, which charms both locals and visitors with beautiful little cafés, restaurants and of course an awesome view. This neighborhood is perfect for a relaxed stroll followed by some coffee on a Sunday afternoon.
