Very nice and clean apartments. Easy to find. Breakfast buffet was great with options even for those who are vegetarian. The staff was really helpful and made the stay even nicer. A lot of restaurants in the area and a nice park very near the hotel.

The hotel is located in the clean and quiet district, next to the metro station. The room is well designed, the design is minimalistic, Swedish style. There are a small kitchen in the room, you can find all necessary kitchen utensils there, is it very convinient, big bathroom, nice bedroom, spacious hall. Near the hotel you will find a special room...

I really hesitate to say this, because I like the peace and quiet and the newness of this place! But more people should be staying here. It is not especially convenient for the centre, but if you're working on Kungsholmen, then this is clean, nearly new, and well-appointed, with a good breakfast (for example: I don't drink cow's milk --...

Although slightly out of the centre it is very quick and easy to get into the centre. There are 2 Metro stations near by and you if you feel energetic you can walk. The apartment was very clean, no dust hiding under the bed! The cooking facilities were just right for us 2 rings and a microwave. The large bathroom...

We chose this hotel because it was less expensive than hotels in the city center. The hotel is located in an area of high density apartments and office buildings but not much in the way of restaurants or bars ( or not the type that appealed to my husband and me). The location is convenient to the Subway (if you...

I visited this hotel with my wife and we both liked it. You probably need to grab a taxi if you're traveling with bags, but if you travel light you can walk here from the central station. Breakfast is good, but has no warm courses. Gym is very small. Overall very happy with our stay.

I was in this hotel apartment 2 days last week arriving late in the evening. The man at the reception was very kind and helpful even if it was late. We, me and my family (husband + 2 children 14 and 11years old) checked in very quickly. The room for 4 person was very spacious and modern. Beds were very...

A very smart studio apartment for a week's stay in Stockholm. Not expensive by the standards of Sweden but a bit more freedom to relax. Room has a small kitchen, microwave, hob and fridge, so you can cook or reheat a takeaway and keep a beer cool. Only showers in the two smaller apartments and a bath in the biggest,...

Staying in Kungsholmen

Neighbourhood Profile
Kungsholmen
Kungsholmen is one of the largest islands in central Stockholm and one of the most popular places to live. Its most famous attraction is Stockholm’s City Hall, which stands out with its monumental architecture and is one of the most photographed buildings in Sweden. Kungsholmen has its own little city center and shopping mall, its own beach and a lovely pedestrian area next to the water, which charms both locals and visitors with beautiful little cafés, restaurants and of course an awesome view. This neighborhood is perfect for a relaxed stroll followed by some coffee on a Sunday afternoon.
