Myself and my fiancé stopped here for 2 nights during our visit to Stockholm. Very easy to find- nearest T-bana/metro stop is mariatorget and the exit is for the police house. The staff are extremely helpful, pointing out on a map where the best places to go and see, and also provide a clear map to use. Breakfast was good...

Hotel Hornsgatan is located on Södermalm, 10 minute walk to Gamla Stan and centrally located in the trendy quarter of Södermalm. The hotel has 17 rooms and spreads over the whole first floor of the beautiful residential building, so it has a b&b feel, which we liked a lot. Staff was incredibly friendly, I think the most welcoming receptionists I...

Myself and my friend we extremely happy with our stay at Hotel Hornsgaten. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the room was huge, clean and the beds were comfy. I've read a few reviews saying the shared toilets aren't ideal - but you can get a room with an en suite and we actually found the shared toilets...

Very cosy and friendly hotel and staff! Nice and clean room, and not so expensive. Would gladly come back to this hotel. Nice breakfast, and so nice to be able to have a cup of coffee or the, some fruits or yoghurt available for free at all times. Close to restaurants and shopping, and the staff are very helpful if...

Friendly and helpful staff, good rooms, nice breakfast and food available all day at no extra costs, which is very kind. Localization is excellent. The only downside are the shared bathrooms, but for the rate it's totally fair.

This is a small, boutique hotel with approx 17 rooms. It's accessed via the first floor of an unassuming apartment building in a vibrant area of Sodermalm, just to the south of the city centre. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk, and there is easy access to the metro. The hotel is pleasant....

I've stayed in hotels all over the world, at every price point, and the welcome I received at Hornsgatan is among the best. Smiling faces, genuine care, lots of time spent orienting you to the city, every question answered, choices of rooms presented, free coffee and tea throughout the day. Room itself also had a very warm, inviting feeling, with...

We are so pleased that we stayed here. Our room was lovely, with alot of old world character. Clara and the rest of the team could not have been more helpful. They have thought of everything - the takeaway coffee cups, if you want to grab a drink on the way out, to the umbrellas by the door, if the...

Lovely hotel and staff. Coped well without ensuite, could have perhaps had larger towels but I would definitely stay here again. You can use the facilities in the breakfast room including tea and coffee, microwave and the fridge. Within walking distance of all the key places or transport system. It was an easy journey-on the coach from the airport and...

Staying in Mariatorget

Neighbourhood Profile
This rather quiet neighborhood revolves around a postcard-like park with a dramatic fountain in its center and is definitely one of Stockholm’s showcase neighborhoods. Mariatorget, a central residential area, is the best Stockholm has to offer when it comes to juxtaposing architectural masterpieces with sophisticated art galleries, coffee shops and bars. Stockholmers love to spend their weekends in the park or one of the nearby coffee shops, so come to Mariatorget to meet the locals. The northern part of Mariatorget boasts historic buildings, beautiful cobblestone streets, and one of Stockholm’s best observation decks, Monteliusvägen, from where you can see an amazing view of the city hall and Stockholm’s old town.
