Fantastic hotel, very cosy and a very warning atmosphere all around, friendly staff, we could ask for more. Lovely surroundings, very close to the train station. All very clean and tidy. We definitely recommend.

This old mansion house is a great hotel for a traveller looking for something different to the normal chain hotels. Full of character but very functional. Not is a great area but not really an issue as train station is just around the corner. Bags of history and charm. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Every room is filled with...

The location was perfect for a three-day break, a short walk to the nearest underground station. We actually walked to the central station going back to the airport, it's about 2,7 km. We were told in advance that our room would be small but in fact it was fine. As it was also cosy with a comfortable bed we were...

The hotel is well located in the hip section of Stockholm. But, far enough off the main streets that is it quiet. The Zinkensdamm subway is a short walk away, allowing for easy access to large amounts of the city. There are many restaurants nearby and a fast food stand next to the subway for late night snacks. The breakfast...

Dear rocker ladies! Thank you for letting us know how much you enjoyed your stay with us in the pink room  We are glad that you had the chance to explore the wonderful neighborhood that Södermalm is. We have been very lucky that it is still so quiet around the area of the hotel. It also nice to read...

Very comfy and close to the metro. It's central and we walked around with no problem. We liked the main street next to the hotel, and it is very quiet. It's clean, they dispose shampoo and body soap. Breakfast was not the best for vegetarians as we are, and they didn't have soy milk every morning.

The building is 200 years old which gives the hotel a special feel. Some rooms are tiny, so if you easily feel claustrophobic, be sure to ask for a bigger one (of the same price category). I asked about it in an email, but had to fix this problem when I arrived at the hotel, which was a bit inconvenient....

We really enjoyed our stay in this charming hotel. I really cannot find a downside to this hotel: the staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast has everything and is delicious, the rooms are cute and the showers are relaxing. The hotel is a 200m walk away from the metro station Zinkensdamm, which has a good connection with both city...

We booked Hotel Hellstens Malmgard on the basis of good reviews from trip advisor and other sites. The building itself is beautiful and communal areas are clean and well presented with lots of nice historic touches. Location is minutes from a bus stop and underground, with most of Stockholm very accessible, and a gentle 15 min walk down Hornsgatan will...

We booked this hotel after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. We were allocated room 304 on arrival. Check in was pleasant but not particularly welcoming. Our room was small but we expected this so no issues there and it was spotlessly clean. The shower room was more than adequate with nice, modern fittings and was well stocked with toiletries etc. The...

Dear Gailanita, Thank you for taking your time to write this review. Since the room 304 is our budget option, small double room category, there isn’t too much storage space, however if you would have asked we would gladly provided you with more hangers. I am glad you liked the breakfast but am sorry to read that it at times...

Staying in Hornstull & Langholmen

Neighbourhood Profile
Hornstull & Langholmen
If you love having a drink by the sea right on the beach (and who doesn’t?) Hornstull & Långholmen should be on top of your list. The area was recently redeveloped and now not only offers artsy bars and edgy restaurants but also a post-modern shopping mall complex for urban retail therapy. Hornstull belongs to the more established and sophisticated neighborhoods in Stockholm and is the typical place where you’ll find Swedish dads meeting for a latte during their paternal leave, or where local office workers meet up at the art cinema for a drink or a movie after work. The beaches in Hornstull and Långholmen are popular destinations for barbeques and sunbathing during the summer. Bring sunscreen.
