We rented Studio Amy from the Lady Hamilton Hotel. The apartment is right around the corner from the hotel, down a quiet, narrow street that is just off one of the main streets in Gamla Stan. I was a bit worried by the dark and...More
The Lady Hamilton is a small boutik hotel in Gamla stan. The location could not be any better. You are just a short walk from everything.
The hotel was decorated with nautical items and traditional Swedish furnishings. The room was cozy snd comfortable.
A lovely old wooden figurehead from the prow of a boat greets you when you walk in the door. There are all sorts of very interesting pieces throughout the hotel including a fabulous ship model. The hotel is beautifully located if you want to stay...More

Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting: take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
alleys, which will make you feel like you’ve travelled back in time. This neighborhood offers a great combination of historical buildings and traditional Swedish restaurants.

Dear Sam and Peggy,
A normal walk from Arlanda express is about 15 minutes. If you have a lot of luggage maybe a cab is to prefer.
We are looking forward to have you as our guest!
Best regards from all of us.
