The hotel has good location near to the shopping center and bars. The rooms are fine, decorated with innovative approach. The windows in the rooms are not opening and some of them are facing the central part of the hotel and you can see the other guest in their room. Since there is no wardrobe, there is luggage room near... More

Very cool hotel with great location near city center and metro/bus/train-stations. The rooms are good quality and decorated wit good taste. I really liked that you can watch the busy Kungsgatan from your window. The breakfast is amazing! Full of local ingridiens and lots of organic options, highly recommended!

Scandic Kungsgatan is about 15 minutes walk from the main train station. It's centrally located. There's a nice basement meat/seafood market right across from it, where you can sit down and eat, or just have some coffee. We stayed here for 2 nights. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is very good!!! You will not want to miss eating... More

What a beautiful hotel! The hotel is located in a quiet area, but at the same time in the center of the city! There was a near by metro station, which made transport easy! The rooms were clean and modern. The service was impeccable, and the breakfast buffet was great. I'm coming back!

If you book a room with 90 euros through booking.com, you may get a horribly small and dark room without a window. Booking.com promotes it as a special prize offer and does not mention that for that price you get a room without a window. The normal room with a window through upgrade is like 50-60 euros more expensive. That... More

Scandic is one of Swedens largest hotel chains, and this is yet another nice hotel. I stayed in a chep, windowless, room but only used it to store my shopping and to sleep in. This hotel is as central/downtown as it gets. Outside on Hötorget there is a daily market, across the market is Konserthuset, where the Nobel prize ceremony... More

The location of this hotel is really great, and it's often reasonably well priced. Compared to the other Scandic hotel nearby (Scandic Klara) I found the staff here friendlier and more welcoming and the rooms were in much better condition (still showed some wear and tear though). However, the breakfast room was far too small - it was incredibly crowded... More

We liked the hotel for its great location. Our family room was quite small but we needed it only for sleeping. The breakfast was ok but early in the morning very crowded. The staff was always friendly.
