Stayed for 2 nights in February, Location is very good for sightseeing in central part of the city and is also easily accessible to Central station. Friendly and helpful service. Room was very small twin bed and bathroom was the tiniest I have ever seen. Breakfasts were good and buffet-style.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is beautiful, with decor in keeping with the age of the building. There are lots of stairs, but they are renovating and installing a lift soon. Room was spotlessly clean. No kettle in the room but with tap water so pure, you really don't miss it. Breakfast was plentiful and kept stocked up....

I knew that the location was compromised by the works at Slussen - so, that did not surprise me (note that the hotel it literally next to a massive infrastructure project). However, this is more of a hostel than a hotel. Service minimal and staff can't even be bother to replenish breakfast even when asked. They wanted to know exactly...

Best hotel I've stayed at in Stockholm! We had a deluxe room on the first floor. + location (near to shops, metro station Slussen, bars and restaurants) + walking distance to Old Town and City Center + staff (super friendly) + fast check-in and -out + bar in the lobby (open until 11 pm) + super fresh breakfast (hot and...

I stayed here for work and just needed a single room with the right location for the purpose, and this hotel got a lot of good reviews so I decided to try it out. It turned out to be located in a cosy old building in a great location near Old Town, Metro and a lot of restaurants and shops...

I stayed here and the price was good. This is not modern but as expected. Had to walk outside to the communal bathroom which was better than expected. The location is very good though in Sodermalm area nearby and Slussen is for the subway stop.

The hotel is located in trendy Södermalm but really close to the historic dictrict (you just need to cross the bridge). Breakfast is grand and the staff, reception and management, very helpful. I would just take a room category above "economy" because those rooms might be a bit noisy. Great price/quality ratio.

This hotel has a great location it is warm friendly the staff are excellent speak great English and are very helpful, the rooms are clean tidy small a bit quirky but a little jaded. Breakfast is very good and I would say the hotel is value for money. Downside no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and as you will...

Stayed at the Hotel for 3 nights from 22/16 until the 25/16, We had an amazing view from the room we had which was shared between me and my father, the scene was beautiful and it was a very good location to shops, restaurants and the Historical town of Gamla Stan. The staff was pleasant and the morning breakfasts that...

Great as a base to sleep, breakfast and explore the city from as location is superb - however not a luxurious hotel to spend a lot of time in. Stayed for 3 nights in sunny September weather. Arrived at 9pm and was underwhelmed by the first impressions. Initially thought the room was terrible as it was cell like with just...

Staying in Slussen

Neighbourhood Profile
A unique mix of grotesque 1960s concrete urban vision and cosy historical Swedish brick houses, Slussen has become one of Stockholm’s most architecturally edgy and controversial neighborhoods. Plans to rebuild the area have been on the agenda for decades, however, so far no agreement could be reached, which is the reason for the continuing decay of its brutalist substance. Nevertheless, the museums and the main shopping street, Götgatan, attract both locals and tourists with Sweden’s most fashion-forward clothing retailers, hipster coffee shops and restaurants. Once the lights are out, the area turns into a bustling nightlife haven, catering to all preferences, from posh hotel bars to sweaty underground nightclubs. There is no better place to experience the clash between old and new Sweden.
