The staff were very nice, they let me check in early because I had just travelled from Oslo and I was very tired and desperate for a nap. Room was surprising very spacious, had everything it needed and a very comfortable bed with nice pillows. The hotel is across from a nice little park and is only a short walk...

I was looking for somewhere to stay on a tight budget but not wanting to share a room and bathroom in a hostel. I stumbled on Hotel Bema at £65 a night for a single room. It is very basic: small bed, desk and chair, small wardrobe but has a private bathroom with a good shower. Suitable only for one...

Everything about my experience with Hotel Bema was easy. Check-in is closed after 5pm, but if you're arriving later they email you instructions for getting in. The room was a little warm but had a fan that kept things cool enough at night. The shower was amazing, maybe the best I had in Scandinavia. The internet was fast, I guess...

Stayed 3 nigths in July, and was really suprised. It's all building but very good located close to everything you need to see. Central station is 5 min walk. Across the building is nice park. Room is big enough and very very clean, with cattle, coffee and tea in it. Only problem is what our room was on ground floor ( I think...

This hotel is located in a quite good position, it's simple and maybe a bit old, but it has everything you need. The reception closes at 18 but they provide you the access code for the gate so you can just help yourself. The wifi is free and very fast! Dont forget you are paying for a 2 stars hotel...

The room was a decent size and the beds pretty comfortable, although I did have to go and track down some extra bed clothes as it was cold. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a large handprint on the wall and I'm not sure I want to know what the fluid used was. There was a choice...

Stayed at this hotel for one night and that's fine. The single room was quite small with basic facilities (small wardrobe, small table, one seater and a shower bathroom). Reasonably clean. the reception opens at certain hours and they will give you a door code to get in in the evening. There is a coffee machine in the hallway so...

We stayed on the ground floor. There's a complimentary coffee brewer in the hall with teas and hot water also. The room's window opened up to the back courtyard, people park their bikes just outside those windows. The staff was professional and nice. My credit card was not processed correctly on the website I booked on so I paid in...

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
