Charming hotel in a really old hous with really nice rooms and a quiet atmosphere! No restaurant, but all other thongs are perfect except a little slow (minor) internet connection (free). Breakfast is fine and in the evenings there is a nice winebar in the lobby.

Stayed one night only on business. Smallish room but perfect for me since I was travelling alone. Wifi worked perfectly and there was everything needed for a stay. Really nice bed with several pillows to choose from. Lovely breakfast topped it off. Will definitely come back.

It might not look like it from the outside but Nofo Hotel is a small cosy hotel with a boutique feeling. We got a very nice room with beautiful views to the rear green park. The breakfast was included and it was great, everything fresh and delicious. The only con would be that the bathroom was for me a bit...

The shower curtain was filthy and the soap container is rusty and hanging off the wall. There is no WIFI in the room for more than a minute. The staff is extremely unfriendly. Breakfast was the worst I have had in our travels, unless you like meat and cheese. Being a vegan, I have found many fruits and vegetables at...

We are extremely unhappy with this hotel. We were supposed to have a refrigerator and safe, yet we have neither. When I inquired at the desk I was told that I could use their refrigerator downstairs or lock things up in the safe in the luggage room. Our friend had a single room and has a much larger room, a...

The room was nothing special, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. We overlooked the wooded park/cemetery behind the hotel, so we had a lovely view and the room was very quiet. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The best thing about the hotel was Erik, the Sommelier, who runs the wine bar that opens every afternoon about 5:00....

Amazingly quirky ex hospital, barracks and brewery, this hotel had a small room but good facilities and an excellent breakfast in the shaded cobbled courtyard. Wifi included, staff obliging and superb value.

Had concerns when I read reviews before departure about noise (a big problem if you're a light sleeper) and windows not opening. Our last visit to Stockholm two years ago found us in a heatwave staying on a boat with windows which didn't open! This hotel had big opening windows which we left open all night and slept well. There...

Our room 006 was on the ground floor, and looked onto the alleyway with bins - so noisy at times. It was very small so that you had to move carefully around the bed in order not to trip. The smallest bathroom I have seen with shower, toilet and handbasin, arranged so that to use the shower the doors opened...

We booked this hotel because it was literally a minutes walk from where we were attending a church wedding. It had relatively good ratings and wasn't too expensive. We were early so they give you a key to lock up your bags so you can wander off and explore the city. When we came back we were simply checked in...

Staying in SoFo & Medborgarplatsen

Neighbourhood Profile
SoFo & Medborgarplatsen
Throughout the last decades these neighborhoods transformed from a rather quiet residential area into the birthplace of Swedish hipsterism and became Sweden’s main hub for new fashion labels, independent coffee shops and innovative gastropub concepts. Despite their extreme transformation, SoFo (South of Folkungagatan) & Medborgarplatsen managed to hold on to their residential charm and quietness and became one of the most sought-after places to live among young people in Stockholm. This neighborhood is also home to Sweden’s highest student hall, Skrapan, which used to be the head office of the tax authorities and now combines a mix of student hall and shopping mall with a bar on top.
