This is a hostel/hotel so you have rooms with own bathrooms or those that use the shared bathrooms in the hallway. This, along with the breakfast on small tables in the hallway just outside your room creates a charming hostel atmosphere. It is a nice, affordable place close to the city center, something that is difficult to find. It is...

This hotel is perfect for those who are looking for a more authentic and welcoming experience than you'll get with the big hotel chains. The hotel is run by a couple (or so it seemed) who were very welcoming. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but in a charming way. As other reviewers have pointed out, the bathroom facilities are...

Horrible place, noisy with people coming in and out like in a tube station. Outside u can hear the train/tram passing every few minutes. The place is oldddddd, charming as other people say?? Well i will call it old and horrible. Share bathrooms, screaming babies at 6 am. In room facilities: a tv. No phone, hair dryer, iron facilities or...

Hotel was very easy to get to even though we arrived at 130 in the morning. We paid fir the little apartment with own shower and kitchenette (which we never used). It was very comfortable and always very clean. Very good value for money for expensive Stockholm The only negativesc are...no strong wifi in room and noises from people using...

A large room with a tiny shower room, all very clean and confortable. Breakfast on small tables dispersed in the corridors. This hotel is in front of a park (we went not there because of heavy wind and little rain). It is very convenient for a short stay - let us stay a week, more or less.

This hotel with its zig zaging corridor and multitude of small rooms is located near a nice park where people sunbathe in the summer and skate on a small ice rink in the winter, i stayed there only one night in a small room with shared bathroom and shower. The staff was friendly ( front desk not always manned) ....

We stayed here three nights with my baby and my parents and everything else was what you can expect for this price in an expensive city like Stockholm. Unfortunately the second night turned out to be terrible. I woke up in the middle of the night because of some young people (quite many of them) were having "liten fest" next...

A group of us went to Sweden to visit our exchange friends in Kalix. Before we set of for the north of the counrty, we decided to have a 'city break' in Stockholm first. So we booked the Wasa Park Hotel. This was situated right opposite where the airport shuttle bus picks up/drop off making this an ideal hotel for...

It is not easy to find a hotel room for a family of 5 in Stockholm. The choice is between hostels and rather basic hotels. Our room in Wasa Park hotel was clean, shared bathroom renovated and very clean. Breakfast rather basic. Wifi available in common spaces and some rooms.

Wasa Park Hotel is situated about 15 minutes walk from Gamla Stan, near beautiful Wasa Park. It's situated in a tenement house which is being renovated. Bedrooms furnished well, in old style, but with TV. Only the bathroom in the room wasn't very nice, rather old and a little bit odd, but clean. There was also possibility of using a...

Staying in Vasastan

Neighbourhood Profile
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
