A very basic but good hotel in the central part of Stockholm. The rooms are very basic but ok for a short stay. Breakfast also basic but ok. The hotel is situated near an underground station and it is easy to get to and from...More
We stayed here for a visit to Sweden hosting Eurovision. Towels and bed sheets are changed daily, the hostel itself is clean. The hostel is in an old Government building. There is a shop a two minute walk away, reasonably priced. There are shared bathrooms...More
Did a one night layover in Stockholm to break up a long flight; had a bit of sticker-shock at prices. That said, hotel was just a few steps from easy Arlanda airport shuttle stop, our room was clean and comfy, and the very full breakfast...More
Very nice little hotel, good for a few nights; close to the subway.

Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s
actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
