Three friends and I checked into our prison cells last weekend and we loved it! Considering the rooms are the size of a prison cell we found there was enough room for two and we even managed to fit four in for a game of...More
My Dad and I recently made a trip to Sweden, starting with a stay in Stockholm. We chose Langholmen based on the rates and knowing we'd each definitely have a separate bed, even if it meant bunk beds. My dad was excited to stay there...More
I booked this hotel to offer something different to my travel companions. We booked 3 single cells and they were indeed just that, located on each side of a long corridor with an open mid section all the way through just like you see it...More
This was a very special experience. Sleeping in jail is really different than staying at a regular hotel. You can also feel a different energy in that building. Visiting this place should be a must for any traveller to Stockholm.
This hotel and hostel on a small island in Stockholm is a previous prison. It's situated in green surrounding, clean rooms with or without bathroom. Breakfast tipp topp and you can sort outside in the garden, I did like this hotel a lot.

Thank you Björn!
We hope we will see you soon again :)
If you love having a drink by the sea right on the beach (and who doesn’t?) Hornstull & Långholmen should be on top of your list. The area was recently redeveloped and now not only offers artsy bars and edgy restaurants but also a post-modern shopping mall complex for urban retail therapy. Hornstull belongs to the more established and sophisticated neighborhoods in Stockholm and is the typical place where you’ll
find Swedish dads meeting for a latte during their paternal leave, or where local office workers meet up at the art cinema for a drink or a movie after work. The beaches in Hornstull and Långholmen are popular destinations for barbeques and sunbathing during the summer. Bring sunscreen.
