Needed urgently a cheap place to stay one extra night in Stockholm, a little sceptical when i entered the ship. Check in was easy, cabin small and old but clean. Slept well without any disturbance. Well worth a try if looking for cheap and relatively good place for a night or two.

I wanted to stay somewhere relatively cheap after a business trip and was initially quite sceptical about the Boat hostel. However it was cheap & cheerful in a great location with the old town not too far and of course sodermalm has great bars / restaurants too. Also idelal for solo travel with the one bed berths.

Location is good, just a walking distance from Gamla Stan (old town), great breakfast. The beds are not too comfortable, they are the ships bunk bed. Great bar og a lot of theme action there, but it would also be good to be able to sit down with company and have a conversation.

A novelty place to stay. plus points were its location close to a ferry terminal and not too far from Gamla Stan. Breakfast was also reasonable and there was a room upstairs where guests could sit. Minus points were the room was small, toilets make too much noise (like a rocket going off), room temperatures were sweltering and couldn't be...

Check in was easy. Guy at reception tried to upgrade my room to one that was bigger but they were all occupied. I had a single room. It was small but good enough, sink in the room was handy. Toilets and showers were always clean. The cruise was also nice. Decent food and drinks, skybar was nice too. Would stay...

My boyfriend and I stayed in a small room with private bathroom and bunk beds. Our cabin was very quiet. We slept like babies for the first 2 nights. 3rd night we had some noisy neighbors and the sleep was no longer that good. We could hear them like they were in our own room :)) Served its purpose anyway...

Stayed here for couple of nights and absolutely loved it. It does make a difference to sleep in a cabin on a boat. The ship is old and has a nice feel to it...free Wi-Fi area and 5Kr for a cup of coffee from the coffee machine. Location is good...overall a good choice when visiting Stockholm.

although I like life-music outside on the roof top (Sky-bar ) on the ship but it is unacceptable that you can not get a menu card for the drinks with prices ! So you have to ask for every drink about the price and as the life music is extrem loud you hardly can understand anything. This is an absolute...

Very unique hotel/hostel on a boat. We had a window in our room overlooking the water and we really enjoyed the view. The Skybar was good, all staff were friendly, and breakfast was filling. The rooms are very basic, but it is to be expected as you are staying on a boat! Good value for money.

Cheep and worn. It's ok if you don't expect too much. The drunken nabour woke us when he slammed into bed. The small kiosk/reception offers some beverages and food. There's a kitchen and common room with sufficient self serving equipment. We didn't get the breakfast since out ferry left at 6:45.
