I stayed at the inn with my parents for two nights. You couldn't ask for better hosts than Lee and Paul ... friendly and welcoming, they were always willing to provide advice, a cup of tea or great conversation! The accommodations were superb and the meals were scrumptious. The inn is conveniently located, a quick drive to Picton, Sandbanks, Waupoos,...

Honestly, we were stuck. Our reservation at a local B&B had been messed up, the county was "totally booked", and my husband and I were ready to give up on our weekend and head home. As a last resort I thought I would try emailing one more B&B in the off chance they had a vacancy. Lee contacted me right...

We had a fabulous stay at this lovely inn. The hosts - Lee and Paul - were so welcoming, they really made us feel at home. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The food was excellent, and delivered with Paul's eloquent description of local products. And a good story to go with! An excellent place to stay in a...

Lee and Paul are the most amazing couple who run this bucolic and beautiful country inn. I arrived with cousins and friends, many visiting from China, and we were greeted like long-lost family! Lee runs the front of the house and Paul's domain is the kitchen. And the amazing offering from the kitchen that had me stammering was the cream...

We just returned from a weekend at the Inn ~ four couples on a biking/wine tour. It's my fifth stay, and each time I return to find that Lee and Paul have worked hard at making the Inn even more beautiful then the last time. The attention to detail, the delicious meals, the beautiful gardens, make this place a delight...

Lee is an exceptional host. She is willing to cater to our (10+) early morning breakfast requirements so that we can start birding at dawn. Rooms are very comfortable, homey & clean. Renovations are ongoing throughout the winters which is evidenced in continued improvements. Food is very good & plentiful. We are welcomed with open arms, & made to feel...
