This was our second stay here, and can’t imagine ever booking anywhere else.
After I foolishly left my phone in the room, the staff cheerfully helped me out, getting it couriered on to London urgently. Given the service here is so polite and friendly I...More
We loved the Fabian. It is centrally located, within easy walking distance to restaurants, the waterfront, the city market, etc. The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet.
Where the Fabian most excelled was in its service. We had an issue with our room (some...More
This hotel is very central. Located near Market hall, the Esplande beautiful avenue, and many other attractions. Many "little things"😊 , made us enjoy our stay very much . The staff was kind and helpfull. Breakfast was delicious and the room was luxurious and cosy....More
Really quite a small hotel, just two streets back from the harbour in the old town.

The best way to get from the airport to the hotel is by Yellow Line Taxi (hope we have remembered the name correctly) - a shared ride shuttle service. It is easily organised in both directions and cost effective. If you contact the hotel they will provide you with other options. The hotel is on a quiet street and only a short walk from the market hall and harbour. It takes a little longer to get to other attractions - perhaps 15 minutes to the Helsinki Cathedral. We found it very convenient and walked to all the places we visited. We enjoyed staying at this hotel - the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were good and the room was very comfortable. The hotel does not have an evening restaurant - you can organise room service, for a 10 Euro delivery fee, from a "sister" hotel a couple of blocks away. We didn't do this as there are some good options for evening meals nearby.
