Lovely boutique hotel located in the centre of Helsinki, just off the esplanade. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are bright and airy. Recommend getting a style or luxe room if possible as much more spacious than the comfort rooms. A great, affordable option.

Thank you so much for your wonderful five-star review! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our boutique hotel and appreciated our central location in Helsinki, just off the Esplanade. We’re delighted that you found our beds extremely comfortable and our rooms bright and airy. We also appreciate your recommendation for the Style or Luxe rooms; they indeed offer a more spacious experience. It’s great to know that you consider us a great and affordable option, and we are grateful for your kind words and endorsement. Your feedback means a lot to us and helps other travelers looking for a unique and comfortable stay in Helsinki. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit to the city! Warm regards,

One of our best hotel stays. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the housekeeping who went out of their way and the breakfast person who was so skilled. The room was totally quiet, and the beds were not too soft/not too hard. The breakfast was amazing with lots of healthy fresh choices for everyone. The location is perfect for walking all around central Helsinki. Highly recommend this hotel.

The Inn is well located, the Style room is spacious and nicely arranged. The staff is discreet but friendly and efficient. The breakfast is very good with a great choice, the place is warm and friendly.
The air conditioning is noisy, we can't adjust it ourselves and the windows don't open, which bothered me at night. The mini bar is really mini and the Awards of the items contained are excessive. The breakfast room is small and you have to sneak between the chairs and the people who serve the buffet. You have to manage in English because no one speaks French, which is the norm in Finland, but who will be a plus in an Inn.

This hotel is conveniently located four blocks from the Esplanade in this highly-walkable city. The room was spacious, quiet, comfortable, and well-appointed. The bathroom was highly functional and sized for ease of movement. The standard European breakfast is available in a small room with more seating available in the courtyard. As a first-time visitor to this city, this hotel exceeded my expectations.

I picked the hotel for the name (one of our children is called that...) and was absolutely delighted with everything. The check-in and check-out is problem-free, fast and very friendly. The room was fantastic, extremely clean.... quite great because carpeting really just around the bed, the rest of the room with nice, easy to keep clean floor (never found such an extremely good solution). Very conscious attitude towards the environment and easy handling to follow. I was really happy because I do it at home, but in hotels it is mostly limited to the history of towels, whether you change them daily or not. Here you are invited (very polite and discreet) to collect garbage separately. Really great and very, very easy to handle. Thank you for that.
The staff is very friendly, the premises really very clean and the hotel is very central yet very, very quiet.

Great location only 10mins to senate square/ cathedral. There is also a park 2 mins from the hotel (leave the hotel and turn left you can’t miss it)
Staff were so friendly throughout our stay and the atmosphere was very peaceful and relaxed which we loved.
Breakfast is more on the basic side but still plenty of options with croissants, toast, smoothies, juice, cereal and cold meats. Personally would prefer more of a fruit selection but loved their homemade jams. Also loved that breakfast goes to 11:30 on weekends so we got a nice lie in and 10am weekdays.
Games and books in reception and comfy sofas.
The room was great, plenty of space as well as robes, mini fridge, shampoo and shower gel provided. Hairdryer too and we got a kettle on request.
Comfy beds and the shower was very good. Quiet room (508) never heard a sound through the night.
No problem leaving our bags for the day as our flight was late.
Felt it was all great value for money considering the higher prices of Finland. Would absolutely recommend.

I stayed for three nights over the Easter weekend. Check in was very smooth, and the receptionist was extremely helpful. The room was compact but very clean and comfortable, with a good sized safe which came with a built-in socket for charging devices. The courtyard - facing room was extremely quiet and well - insulated, and allowed in a lot of light even on an early spring day.
Buffet breakfast was excellent, with a good spread of continental breakfast items as well as Finnish specialities such as Karelian pasties.
The hotel was an excellent base for exploring Helsinki on foot, due to its central location. It certainly deserves another visit!

Very nice, quiet hotel near the centre of Helsinki. Close to the Market Place with its departure points for archipelago cruises and to local transport (though most of Helsinki can be done on foot). The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had quiet rooms at the top of the hotel: they were small but comfortably appointed. Good beds and bedding. Breakfast is included in the room rate and is varied and of good quality, though the breakfast room is a bit cramped. Good quality/ price. If we go back to Helsinki, we will return to the Fabian Hotel.

We stayed at the hotel with a good location but not great, the rooms are spacious. The bed comfortable and the bathrooms have nice functionality and the midday checkout team is a bonus. Service was good throughout our stay. Breakfast was high quality local cuisine but lacked enough warm options for me to be wow’d by it and the coffee was just ok. All in all there were be very little I remember about this hotel (and yes I am spoilt and well travelled) and for me was just a bit expensive. I also though can find no fault whatsoever so if you want a clean functional hotel as a base whilst you explore you can certainly do a lot worse than the Fabian.

We stayed one night as part of a ten-day Scandinavian trip. The hotel staff were very helpful and the room was gorgeous and roomy; the only minor complaint would be the hairdryer being not as powerful as it could be. The breakfast was truly fantastic. I would return just for the oatmeal.
Just some tips:
1. You can walk everywhere, including Esplanadi, the ferry stop to Suomenlinna, and old market hall (Vanha Kauppahali). A walk to the southern tip of Kaivopuisto, a beautiful park south of the hotel is worth your time.
2. Visit the Oodi library north of the train station; Finns love their libraries and it shows.

Dear Jule,
Our customers are allowed to use our sister hotel Hotel Lilla Robert's gym free of charge. It is open 24/7 and located 250m from here so it only takes 3 minute walk.

There is the Allas sea pool across the harbour. Maybe 15 to 20min walk. It’s got saunas, outdoor heated pools and a sea pool. As well as a restaurant and a bar.
We had the rooms with a kitchen. It had a balcony overlooking the courtyard
Depending which cruise operator you book. The hotel is within walking distance of one of the piers.
The best way to get from the airport to the hotel is by Yellow Line Taxi (hope we have remembered the name correctly) - a shared ride shuttle service. It is easily organised in both directions and cost effective. If you contact the hotel they will provide you with other options. The hotel is on a quiet street and only a short walk from the market hall and harbour. It takes a little longer to get to other attractions - perhaps 15 minutes to the Helsinki Cathedral. We found it very convenient and walked to all the places we visited. We enjoyed staying at this hotel - the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were good and the room was very comfortable. The hotel does not have an evening restaurant - you can organise room service, for a 10 Euro delivery fee, from a "sister" hotel a couple of blocks away. We didn't do this as there are some good options for evening meals nearby.
