The building is dilapidated on the outside and even looked closed from the outside.
The lobby is small, but the staff are very welcoming.
The rooms are nice, they have a small fridge to store your things, a safe, a nice TV, a small but functional bathroom.
The interior of the hotel is not bad, on the eighth floor there is also a nice sauna available to customers.
Good breakfast, rich and plentiful.
Location: the Kallio district is just outside the centre, but tram lines 3 and 7 pass in front and 8 next door, with which you can reach all parts of the city, very conveniently.
Quiet area, in front of a football field of a sports club, supermarket next door and also the pharmacy.
Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes, including the kindness of all the staff

This hotel with good tram connections has the authentic and rugged spirit of the bohemian Kallio district.
We booked the best room category that is a Junior Suite. The previous time we stayed at this hotel, this room was called a Superior Family Four room.
We got our room from the top 8th floor with great views. The noises of the heavy tram traffic didn't disturb us.
The suite has a small living room. Somebody had probably broken the living room television because it had been removed. The bathroom with a shower is very small but you can find a separate toilet next to the living room. The bed was good.
The breakfast is the most modest Scandic breakfast you can find in Helsinki. Luckily, the hotel was quite empty because the breakfast room is small.
Our stay had a quite good value for 109 euros. My partner got his Scandic TOP level welcome gift and a 15 euros voucher for the lobby shop or the room's minibar.
The hotel is very confortable, placed in a nice area of Helsinki.
The staff is very friendly.
The hotel is very quite, so you can relax and enjoy sauna too.
And a very good breakfast.

I can for sure recommend this for other people, room was quite small but ok for a shorter stay Breakfast was nice and I enjoyed it very much . Our room was close to the elevator and some noise was present , nothing much thou
The bar was nice and the hotel staff was very nice.
"If you do not intend to spend your day in the hotel, it is a good choice. Good public transportation nearby! SWIMMIGPOOL round the corner."Read full review
"Notice that the cheapest ones don't have a window. But that is not bad especially in summer when the sun rises too early."Read full review
