A good location for a hostel as it is within easy walking distance of most things in Helsinki; the best location I could find. Clean and tidy. A small living space and not very social but if that doesn't bother you I would recommend it for a short stay.

Location is excellent for all major sights and entertainment. The hostel itself is based high up in a histiric building, and inevitably suffers from the limitations caused by age. My private room was rather tired and in need of some TLC (new curtains, redecoration etc) although the shared toilet/shower was clean and rarely busy, and the service was friendly and...

The only positive thing I can muster about this hostel is such a great location. It's near the main train station in Helsinki, so you can pretty much get to whatever place you want to go with ease. It's also close to nice pubs and restaurants, like Liberty or Death and Bar Nine. The wifi is extremely weak and you...

It's actually quite a nice place. Beds are metal but not wobbly and squeaky, they are very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped. I stayed in both the 8 and the 5 bed rooms. 8 bed room can get quite stuffy if the heat is on, I had to turn it off a couple times. Finland is full of friendly...

I just stayed there for a night, even though it a bit expensive but again we are speaking about Helsinki so is the cheaper price that you could, well actually you could find cheaper but outside of the city center.. the location is perfect, because as I said is in the city center, really clean hostel. big kitchen, with a...

Excellent hostel with a feeling like home. Great kitchen/dining area which has everything you need. Very good location, about a 10-minute walk from central train station. Excellent WiFi. Friendly, helpful staff.

Stayed in a 5 bed mixed doom room. I was told to sleep on a camp-bed despite the room not being completely full. Had no complaints with the bed - just some very loud snorers made it difficult to sleep! But all fine in the end. There is a kitchen/common room which is quite cosy. Good to meet new people....

I was visiting Helsinki for a rockconcert at Tavastia of 22 Pistepirkko Finland's best R & R band. So I only needed a simple room to sleep. I can recommend Erottajanpuisto. I had my own small but clean room. The communal showers and toilets down the hall incidentally were as common in Scandinavia spotless. WiFi worked well and the breakfast...

I enjoyed my two nights here, the room was clean and comfortable, the location was good and I met some great people. It's very quiet, including silence after 11pm, which will definitely suit some travellers. The wifi was slow and intermittent and there was often a wait for an available shower, and I also missed having a lounge area, as...

The hostel is good, near the center of the city and many of the main points of interests. Good kitchen where you can cook and have interesting chats with the other guests. The place is very quiet and the rooms and bathrooms are ok. The main problem is the WiFi that didn't work properly (only 20% of the time worked...
