This place really underperformed. I thought it was safe to book any Scandic but this was just very worn and outdated. Room was ugly and not at all cozy. Bathroom looked like something that had not been renovated from the 90´s. Plastic furniture made it feel like an old train cabin.
The room was somewhat clean but the common areas did not feel fresh and clean at all.
On top of that, I had some very loud sounds from the room next door in the middle of the night. Also lots of noises from the street (however that I would have expected from a hotel so central so not a big problem).
Breakfast was ok, not more than that. The breakfast room felt like a cantina in a school and was not at all pleasant to sit in.
I have statyed at several hotel in the area and you do not have to pay much extra to get something much nicer. I really wish I would have spent that 50€ extra for a better experience.
Scandic should really consider renovating this place. It does not live up to the expected Scandic standard.

Superbly situated on tram, subway, and bus lines and only a five minutes walk to the central railway station. All tourist sites are within easy walk. Breakfast spread is large; buffet style. Lot of sitting places and the large glass windows overlook the street. You can eat up enough to avoid a lunch! Spa hours are separate for men and women. Wi-fi is reliable and no password is needed. Rooms are small but bathroom was smaller still. Will stay again for location and breakfast.

I was making brief stop before heading to meeting and was taking short shover... or so I think. Hot water runs out just when I get myself all over shampoo! So need to wash out in hand wash stall what did give hot water... expect that got clogged! So quite irritadet and already running late run down and told this to reception. "We change your room" was only solution but since I was already late and all my staff was in old one I told and 'cause I come back at night and was taking morning flight I dont wanna take my sleeping time to re-packing and moving. No sorryes, no any kind of refund... cold shover, handstall full of water and really noisy air condition with cold air. Never again this one! Couple our bad sleep and cranky travel to airport was all I get!

Probably the worse hotel stay I ever had this is nothing like other Scandic hotels, curtains have holes, rooms are very noisy. I could hear water noise all the night, personnel was mostly rude. Location was good but that was the only plus.

Hotel location is very close Metro, Railway etc. Rooms cleanin works well. Show room surfaces coud be better condition and shower wet easily room widely. Breakfast is basic not as good as it was earlier. Selection is not anymore as wide as it was.

I thought this was a great location near senate square and near the shopping/food and train station/ It really cant get to much better of a location, the only negative is this had to be the smallest shower area I have ever had(pic attached). The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast i suggest going early its a big room but it sure does fill up fast. I thought the breakfast for was average at best but ity was free so thats a plus. Would I stay here again hard to say with such a small shower area but other than that I enjoyed this hotel location and such. I really dont want to be negative about this place.

Located close to the train station is a real plus but the rooms are tired and heating is retrofitted with pipes everywhere. Our shower leaked water all over the bathroom and they supplied a squeegee so it was a known problem. Safe didn't work. Windows don't open and air-conditioning struggled. Breakfast was pretty good. Quite expensive for what we got.

Quite basic hotel on great location. Normally Scandic has treated me nicely but this time they dumbed us into room for two + 1 extra bed ... although we paid for "Superior 4 person room" ... I have stayed on this hotel multiple times and it offers normally good value for money. This review criticizes this last stay - normally I would have given 3 or 4 stars out of 5.

Hi,
Usually the decoration and layout of the rooms are not the same in the hotel as the bathroom as well. My bathroom hadn't glass walled, maybe in other room they can offer it. If it is available in the hotel, you can request it :)
