My son and I stayed one night in April 2017 in a fourth floor interior room “Desiree Twin”. The room was small with no much light, but clean and quiet with nice design and very comfortable beds. Good breakfast buffet. Very central location.

This is a cool hotel. The packaging including breakfast & a free drink was nice but I thought that charging €8 for an omelet or bacon & eggs was inappropriate given that I have NEVER been asked to pay supplements before at ANY hotel. BTW that policy also applies to espresso, cappuccino and other 'special' beverages!!! However our Skyloft room...

Tiny shabby rooms- so your suitcase will be in the middle of the floor. No desk- so don't plan on working (or anything, really). Perhaps it's called "passion" because it's so small- you will have no option but to be close with anyone else in the room. My biggest peeve is the lack of response from staff. Despite emails to...

Me and my husband stayed in Klaus K for one night at the Passion double room. It was the smallest double room as they put it. Overall it was nice but considering their ads and emphasis on being a design hotel I found it a bit shabby. Our room was a bit worn out, and design-wise nice but not wow....

My wife and I only stayed one night but we arrived at 6:30am in the morning and we were offered a room straight away (slight premium for an upgrade) which allowed us to get ready for a full day of sight seeing. The hotel is beautifully decorated in traditional design. Rooms are nicely presented and the showers and bed are...

Really great hotel for a decent price (I paid c. €260 for a weekend visit) and I recommend getting a Skyloft reservation if you can swing it. The rooms are lovely, well-equipped and tidy. Really loved the decor (I had a guitar in my room for some reason, but I didn't complain) in each of the spaces. Each Skyloft comes...

From the Helsinki Metro Station, we took one of the tram which stop exactly on the front door of this hotel. Very convenient! No issues with check-in. As comments from others, the room is quite small but modern. We took a stroll in the evening to the nearby mall. Hardrock Cafe just couple of blocks away. Selection for breakfast was...

I had expectations on this hotel but was quite disappointed. The room was good and nicely decorated, but without shades and the curtains didn't fully cover the windows; a bit hesitant to get undressed. The corridors showed quite some wear. At this price level I would have expected complimentary coffee and tea, but no; that was 4€ extra. Promised a...

Thank you Rickard B for your review. I am sorry that we failed your expectations. Some issues that you mention we clearly failed (like the speaker and shades). We will learn from this. Thank you for pointing out these hickups! We hope to welcome you back soon! Kind regards, Tero

Nice style of the hotel. But unfortunately, in front of the windows of the rooms 302-306 (and more?) there is the central air conditioning which is extremely noisy! At 11pm I wanted to change room but it was not possible. If you go there, try to avoid a room which looks in the inside of the building. Ask a room...

Tero T, Manager at Klaus K Hotel, responded to this review

Dear Olivier W, I am so sorry that we ruined your sleep. To clarify a bit, the noise was not coming from an A/C unit, but from the in-room radiator. For some reason the closed system had gotten a fair amount of air in it causing an unbearable noise in the radiators. I hope that the 50% discount that was...

We booked on the recommendation of a friend that lives in Helsinki, and were not disappointed. On arrival we were asked if we would like to upgrade to a skyloft for a small nightly fee, which we did. These rooms are very nice, there was plenty of space in these, and I would recommend staying in one. The hotel itself...
