If you like small hotels with a feeling of familarity you should choose Park hotel, Turku, Finland. The staff is very kind and helpful.. If you are lucky you will be welcomed by Jakko, the old parrot. The rooms are in different stiles, well equipped. The breakfurst is rich with all that you can wish. The hotel is situated in...

Park hotel has a certain flair when entering, looks like a castle and charming at first. Parking on the backyard. Yard was quite slippery due to ice, not enough sand on it. Inside equally charming yet felt stuffy and on closer look not too clean either. Breakfast was a real low-point, wonder how long and when the eggs were cooked.

Park Hotel is a rather small, sympathetic hotel in a pretty building in Jugend style. Location of the hotel is excellent: it is situated just next to Puolalanmäki, one of the most beautiful and prestigious neighbourhoods in Turku, and very near the Market Square and the city centre. The appearance of the hotel is charming, though somewhat dated. My room...

I stayed here for 3 nights with my husband and our 2 cats. The hotel had a very friendy atmosphere and was very nicely decorated. A very different and individual place. Reception personnel was nice and friendly in a very natural way. It was like meeting friends.the parrot Jaakko is a very interersting personality, never seen a parrot drink coffee...

Great location in Turku. Owners were onsite, and apparently have been for over thirty years. Well managed, clean, and friendly. Eclectic decoration with art nouveau focus. Our lovely room had a small balcony facing the park and was decorated in hot pink. Once we got over the color shock we really liked our room and the entire property. Unpretentious boutique...

We almost were in trouble when looking for an available hotel room, but fortunately we ended up accommodating in this small hotel with great atmosphere and surroundings. The hotel has been running for decades. This is not the high-energy bar hotel you find in the centers. The interior decoration is old-style but clean and tidy. Breakfast is not that abundant...

Fine old house, although a bit dusty and shabby. Very friendly staff, especially the owners - including the marvellous gray African parrot Jaakko. Location in the very center could not be better. Still a lush garden, a very quiet spot with its own parking space. A generous and versatile breakfast. We go back every year and recommend the Park Hotel...

The style of the rooms is not really ultra modern, but they are spacy and clean. And part of the history, the building used to be private home of one of the shipyard managers. Excellent breakfast and it was lovely to enjoy it in the garden. Best part was maybe the staff - extremely friendly, made us feel really wellcome....

Know what to expect before booking a room here - it is not your typical hotel! Everything is decorated in a very old style, the decor hasn't been touched in decades. It gives it a fun, unique vibe, like you're stepping back in time. Even though everything is old, it still felt comfortable and clean. Only complaint is that it...
