Sleeping in Hostel which is situated in the boat is such a great experience. Especially with such low price and high quality of services. Room/cabin was clean and cosy. It was a pleasure and definitely not the last time there!

They cant make up their minds if Borea is a hostel or a hotel but never mind. It used to be a cruise ship untill a few years ago and before that it was for decades a passanger ship between Sweden and Finland. For 6 euros they let you see the command bridge and some cabins in original condition. There... More

I have stayed here a few times and it's always nice and cheap. Location is good and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed, the staff is always friendly, breakfast is included as well as evening tea. Very good value for the money!

The service was very friendly. The breakfast, included in the low price, was a nice surprise. Free parking close to the ship. There was also a nice "lobby" with newspapers and books. One used to say that you get what you pay for, but I Think I got more than I payed for

Don't be surprised your room is so small, it's a real ship. But still you have your own tiny bathroom. There is also a common room where you can sit and make some tea. The town is about a 45 minutes walk along the river. It's very convenient when you want to take the ferry to Sweden, just 10 minutes... More

I've never had claustrophobia on a ship until I stayed here. When the heavy metal door slammed shut and I realized the porthole was sealed shut, I had a panic attack! No way to adjust the air flow in the room. My panic subsided after I took 1/2 of my wife's "psycho" pill--plus I could sense some fresh air coming... More

Nice boat hostel/hotel. It's mor hotel less hostel. Ok bed and ok room. Great service with bike rental (10 min from city center). The breakfast was at most ok. A historical ferry with a bar on the deck.

We attended a nice birthday party for about 50 people and had one of the restaurants and one of the bars for that. Great service, great food and nice staff at a not-so-typical place. Lots of parking space around.

This ship has it unique feeling when you step inside. And doesn't matter how good instructions you get for your cabin you will be lost during your first time. But for me it felt cool to walk these small corridors and truely discover my cabin and then way from it to restaurant. Truely worth for visiting and to be lost... More

The hostel is a bit difficult to find since it is on a ship located in the harbour of Turku. We got a room very fast and the price was ok. Included in the price is bed sheets and towels. The hostel is based in a former ferry ship that is now permanently docked. Free wifi is available. The included... More

Spend the night in the maritime atmosphere on board. On board the boat hostel there are 120 comfortable cabins, most of them equipped with shower and WC. The price includes bed linen, towels and breakfast, served in the ship's buffet restaurant. Free morning sauna is heated up in the crew's former quarters. Guests are also provided with wireless internet access (in common areas), luggage storage and self-service laundry facilities. M/S Bore was built in 1960 in Oskarshamn in Sweden. The location is ideal: the port of Turku is within easy walking distance, and the No. 1 bus will bring guests from the airport and bus station directly to the hostel. If arriving with your own car there is plenty of free parking. You are also in the perfect spot to start your own walking tour of the River Aura. The reception is open 24/7.
