Andrea was a lovely hostess. She was fun to talk with because she shared about her life and the local community culture. Her guesthouse is clean and comfy. The breakfast was beautifully presented. It is a quiet place with a lovely view of mountains and horses. Takk takk

We loved our one night stay at the Petursborg guesthouse. We stayed in a small room with full bath in the lower part of the house that it's own entrance. It was cozy and private. The owners were friendly and gracious and you can't beat the view. We were able to walk around to see the horses close up and...

This is a wonderful guesthouse. We stayed in a two-bed cottage which was so comfortable. We woke up to sunny skies, a horse pasture and a dog park. Breakfast is included in your stay. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

This unassuming guesthouse is tucked away a couple of kilometres from the Ring Road within sight of the waters of Eyjafjörður. Central Akureyri is a 5-7 mins drive away. In May 2016 I stayed in one of their 2 cottages equipped with private bathroom. The hosts are warm and attentive to the needs of their guests. The cottage was simple...

Five stars because of the excellent value. Would have liked to give 4 1/2. We had the second cabin back so no views but lovely decorated cabin. Wifi didn't work as stated in cabin but Christian said he was going to sort this. Worth checking before you get settled in if this is important to you. It worked in the...

We stayed here one night and it was very nice. There is a hot tub on site (we had to fill it) and we spent time relaxing there. We ran down to the shore to say we'd swam in the Arctic ocean, then ran freezing back to the hot tub. Very nice place.

Great location about 5 minute drive from the town centre. Clean, bedrooms are a good size. Lovely breakfast included, good kitchen and a hot tub in the garden overlooking the fjord. Brilliant value for money. We stayed for 2 nights and loved it.

Lady who runs guesthouse is pleasant & helpful, and there is a small kitchenette & washing machine you can use. There are some small separate cabins which seem to be ok. However the room we had was a basement in the main building , opening directly from outside, and it was really small with 2 single beds in opposite corners...

We stay in the small cottage near the main building and the experience was just perfect. The host is very friendly and a warm-hearted person. The cottage is just lovely and has every amenities -- we particularly love the chair! Great view of the fjord nearby. Only downside: the wifi in the cottage is quite unreliable.

We were 1 night at Petursborg and the only guests on that day. The guesthouse is located a few minutes drive outside of Akureyri (not in walking distance!) and due to the surrounding darkness a good place to view the northern lights. Thanks to the lovely owners, we were upgraded to one of the huts with our own bathroom. The...
