We stayed here as a family of four while traveling through Iceland. Although the cottages are a bit small, it was incredibly clean and functional. But we stayed here for the views! AMAZING! You look out your wide windows and can see the glaciers. Open expanse of field with horses and livestock. The accommodation set up is more like a...

Stayed for one night, but wish we had stayed longer! Such a beautiful location with awesome hikes nearby and so close to Hofn. We had one of the large cottages and it was absolutely spotless and so nice! The kitchenette was well-outfitted and we were able to prep both dinner and breakfast in the room. The double size bunk fit...

We wanted to get away from everything - and Lambhus was exactly right for us. The cozy cottages can fit 4 adults, provided you're all very comfortable with each other! The kitchen has 2 electric burners, a little fridge, a couple pots and pans, and some dishes. It's everything you need for a few nights in the countryside. Hofn is...

Lovely location when you are travelling around Höfn and to visit the Jökulsarlon glacier. We stayed one night in a small cottage with 2 adults and 1 child which was ok, as there are 2 bunk beds. You can park your car just next doors, so no need to bring all your luggage inside. The cottage is well equipped. We...

Spent one night here in June, on a roadtrip along south coast of Iceland. The location is easy to find just off main road and well signposted. The cabins are clean and ideal for two people. Kitchen area has everything you need to self cater. Views are stunning from all windows and you can see glaciers in distance. It is...

Spectacular views of the glacier. Sparse scandi designed cottages--small and efficient. Large bunk beds were comfortable. We were only 2 people--mother and young son, and it was perfect for us. I think the small huts would be crowded for 4 people.

Group trip hiring a couple of the larger cabins. For 4 adults even the larger cabin is a bit cosy for staying in all day, but one look out the window and you'll be raring to get out and about. Truly amazing view in every direction, the location could not be better. Would have loved to stay longer.

We had a lovely one night stay and could have happily stayed longer. The cottage was clean, comfy and well equipped. The owners were welcoming and helpful. Views were amazing. Definitely recommend both as a one night ring road stop off or for a longer stay.

We stayed in the smaller cabin and it was very comfortable for the two of us. The cabin was well cared for... Bed was comfortable... Kitchen met our needs quite nicely... Wifi was great... All in all a very nice little cabin. And the VIEW!!! Three glaciers... big windows... table in the corner overlooking it all. WOW! Our hosts were...

We stayed here for one night during a Ring Road trip in Iceland. We were driving as far east as Jokulsarlon and needed a place to stay for the night. We were late in booking our lodging and these cottages were among the only places open for our dates. We lucked out! Of the three places we stayed during our...
