The room was warm, quiet and very comfortable, but where this hotel stood out was the friendliness and helpfulness of the receptionist. She couldn't have done more for me. Well done and thank you to a hard working lady.

We needed to stay an extra night in Iceland after our tour ended and we wanted to be close to the airport. A web search brought me to the Hotel Keilir. We ended up getting dropped off around 11am, so our plan was to ask them to hold our luggage and we'd check in later. Since it's not the busy...

The hotel is located close to Keflavik airport, around 5 minute taxi ride (costing 3000 krona). Restaurants nearby. Rooms are average, and bathroom light need to be set well since they're with sensors and while showering it went pitch dark for a minute or two, could easily injure yourself. Internet connection was a disaster. An ideal hotel for an early...

We had originally booked another hotel, but they emailed us to tell us they were overbooked and had made arrangements for us at Hotel Keilir. While not thrilled, we were happy the situation had been handled without impacting our trip or plans. However, Hotel Keilir was very disappointing. There is no lift, so we had to carry our 40 pound...

The first hotel was great! The staff was wonderful, the facility of the first place was clean, modern and provided some great amenities. So when we stayed at...

It is well located, close to pub, restaurants, banks, Post Office, etc. The property is a single building consisting of three floors and is located right next to the street....

This is a nice clean hotel, on the main strip. Easy to get to, likely will get noisy during the busy season but OK for March. Warm, good amenities for a basic hotel. Pleasant but slow at check in. Helpful with all requests for assistance. Like with anything in Iceland it is expensive by North American standards but look around...

We got Two, yeah not just one but Two, dirty rooms. When we got to our first room, we noticed the room was guite small and did not look like the rooms we saw on their site, but of course that was not the problem; the room was enough for us but then we noticed some kind of dirt on...

I recently overnighted at the hotel as it is close to the airport . The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful . The offer a shuttle to the airport which is most helpful especially if you have an early check out . The rooms are simple and I presume they have views . I happened to arrive late at...
