Clean and comfortable hotel. We had a deluxe double with private bathroom (312) this was on its own just off a corridor so we slept soundly. Quirk of the room was a bedroom upstairs which we found a fun novelty but those with mobility issues may want one level The hotel was a quick bus ride through to the centre....

PROS: Good breakfast buffet. Good WiFi connection in the room. Parking on site. CONS: Place is located in the middle of nowhere. Shared bathroom missing toilet tissue and not cleaned well. No lift. One ladies and males toilet + shower per floor (+/- 8 rooms).

This hotel was great for what we wanted, brilliant beds, quick food. Availability to kitchen, quiet no noise from what we could hear. The location is about 30 mins walk from the centre which isn't bad as you get to see more of the outer city, and it's beautiful country. So everyone else who moaned about location, you go to...

The capital inn is a good hotel for the cheap trip, the rooms are great with clean comfy beds to sleep in, the bathrooms are shared with a big shared kitchen in the basement hand for the budget trip. The one thing for me that lets this hotel down is its location it isn't great it takes about 8 minutes...

The price point was the main reason we booked this spot. The hostel was very clean and they had access to a nice walk in fridge to store food. It is far from the city centre. The washrooms were problematic as they only had 2 working toilets. The showers were an exercise in masochism. If I come to Reyjkavik again...

Very clean, good bunks, easy to find, great wifi and storage area for food. Good kitchen. Not a thing wrong with this place. Best to have a car as its a ways from city centre. Prices are great. Helpful staff. A nice place to end our Iceland journey after camping for 2 weeks.

Stayed here the night prior to departing on a Ring Road drive, and again before departing Iceland. Small, but clean & modern rooms with very comfortable beds. Located in a residential neighborhood, though near a moderately busy road, about a 20-25 min. walk to downtown, just a short walk up to the Perlan ("Pearl," I think), which offers great views,...

The hotel is situated just off the main road from the airport to Reykjavik and about five mile outside the capitol, it is well maintained with a good support staff. Although mainly a B&B it also caters for evening meals which were well cooked. The hotel can assist patrons with going whale watching and other activities.

The place was the right place, clean, and in a decent location. The room was large, the beds were comfortable, the curtains were nice and dark, and the breakfast was tasty. However, the window opened up to a highway, and it was too hot to keep it closed all night. The traffic noise kept me from sleeping.

Nice place and probably the cheapest place to stay in Reykjavik (16€ for a dorm bed). A ten minutes walk from the Kringlan shopping center where buses from the airport stop and from where there is a free shuttle to the city center, though I preferred the 30 minutes walk. The hostel is not far from a beach at Nautholsvik...
