We spent the night in one apartment with a huge bathroom, kitchenette on the first floor. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. I can totally recommend staying there. The apartment is about 10 min walk to the main church and another 5 min into the main Street of Reykjavik with hipster bars and shops. Just around the corner you find...

Dear Yves B, Thank you for your lovely review. it really is important for us to hear from our guests and I will surely use it to further improve and better our rooms like the shower drain. I'm glad you enjoyed Resto, I agree it's a great restaurant and close by. We hope to see you soon again, Kolla Stay...

The room is large, bathroom is tiny (even by European standards). Directions are clear on where to find everything you need. Did find it odd that we NEVER saw anyone who worked at the Stay Apartments - so that if we did have a question we would have been out of luck. Good for the self sufficient / confident traveler.

Dear travelpa1600, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. As much as we would like to meet our gests; we are a minimal service hotel and do not have a manned lobby. This is how we are able to keep our prices so low. You are right that this may not be suitable for all travelers. Although...

We were upgraded here pre tour as our hotel wasn't available for us. The kitchen was well equipped and the rooms were nicely spacious (however, I don't know which room were we booked in). Bathrooms were clean. Room was clean. The lobby was nicely decorated and even had a small kart with food you could take.

Dear jamilabenito, We are delighted to read you loved your stay with us at Stay Einholt. It is particularly pleasing to read that you enjoyed our little food kart. It's a shame to throw away perfectly good food or drinks like biscuits, serial, coffee or tea that the next guest could possibly enjoy. We hope to see you again in...

Disclaimer -- if you're the type of traveler who prefers to be pampered daily by housekeeping services, then this guesthouse is not for you. Housekeepers do not come and clean daily. You clean your own dishes and take out your own trash. Fresh towels and toilet paper are stored in the closet in the lobby room and you have to...

For anyone used to hotels where a maid cleans the room etc, this is a culture shock. Although I have no problem with making my own bed or washing up, this apartment really is very basic and ideal for students or young couples on a budget or backpackers. There are no chests of drawers and only one tiny wardrobe. Ok...

We arrived very early in the morning so of course there was not a room ready yet, but they did have a small closet where we could lock our belongings up. That was the only confusing part. The closet was actually outside the lobby so we had to call someone early that morning to get that piece of information. There...

This is Manos & John and we were in Iceland/Reykjavik on 27/01/2016 till 12/02/2016. Yeah, we talk about 16 nights! Our contract with venere.com was concerning Stay Apartments on Grettisgata Str. and our room was 201. Of course, 201, nothing had to do with what we saw on the pictures while we were booking our room and we believe that...

I was very pleased with this apartment hotel. The decor was very cute and homey. Great location - very walkable to many places. There was a very nice orange cat that lived nearby too. So happy that there was a fridge in the room. Location feels very safe. We tried one of the restaurants that the owner recommended and it...

I found these apartments to be brilliantly located. We had a rented car which made it easier but we were close to many things. Our room was more a budget room but still very clean and comfortable to stay in. I would definitely recommend for one or two nights.

I booked a twin room studio to share with my sister and this was the perfect choice for us. Clean and warm with comfy beds, a little kitchenette that had enough utensils and pans in it for us to make our breakfasts and lunches and this really helped us to save money. There is a fridge, electric hotplate, toaster, kettle...

“!st floor is below grade so be advised... you will be watching people's feet on the side walk. Ask for 2nd floor or above. Heating is rumoured to be better on lower floors because it's all one system. If somebody downstairs cranks the heat up, the level above gets nothing.”
