Hotel Klettur was a great place to stay and the room was clean and within walking distance to everything "tourist". The bus station is around the corner as well as numerous convenience stores, coffee shops and great restaurants. I would absolutely return to the hotel as everything from amenities to the free breakfast were great. However... the negative... was that...

We booked this property as we had limited choice due to there being a music festival on in Reykjavik at the same time. As most other reviews say, it's fine and there really isn't a great deal more to say about it. We had a deluxe room which was on the 6th floor. Views of the water but there a...

The location of this hotel is excellent, easy walking distance from the restaurants and shops. It was well cleaned and presentable. Breakfast was good and had something for everyone, I had porridge each day which was nice, although could have had a few more hot options. The room would heat up quickly and had a good shower. Bed comfy and...

Stayed here for two nights this week (one at the beginning of a four day break and one at the end). Well located, in that it is just a ten minute walk from shops and restaurants and an hour from the airport. Check in (on both occasions) was really quick, as was check out, and staff were polite and helpful....

Fairly clean rooms with a tea kettle, refrigerator. The beds were actually quite comfortable, though we needed to ask for extra blankets and pillows. The towels were quite small and thin (typical for Europe?) so I might recommend bringing your own. We had another group with us in a different room on the second floor -- their fridge did not...

No frill simple and clean hotel. Price is economical by Iceland standard. Location wise is slightly off the main shopping area but walking distance. Also a Bonus supermarket, few convenience stores, few thai and pizza resturant is around the corner.

This hotel is typical of Iceland, clean no frills. The rooms are small but have a TV, fridge, kettle, iron, hairdryer and a safe. Good sized bathroom with a decent shower. The rooms are well heated, we were never cold! Breakfast is simple but adequate and sets you up for the day. It can be a bit manic when everyone...

moderately priced hotel with everything you need.we had a big room on the 4th floor with underfloor heating which was lovely to walk on,but unfortunately the temperature control on the wall didnt seem to make any difference.it was unseasonably warm outside so in the room was incredibly stuffy, so we didnt sleep very well, even with the window open. Breakfast was...

We stayed for 3 nights and arrived about 9 am after an overnight flight. We were pleased that they could do an early check in for a reasonable add on price, That was a huge plus for us. We had a first floor room by the street but noise was not too bad. The room was small but clean and...

I have to say the staff on reception were extremely unhelpful and misleading in their directions to locate rooms. Very disappointing and a bad start. Poor service. Room clean and modern including spacious bathroom. a bit on the cold side. Breakfast was reasonable but the restaurant area was also poorly managed with items running out, difficult to locate staff to...
