We stayed at this hotel 9th March for four nights. We were very happy with the hotel, the rooms were clean and warm, our room had a fridge, although we had to switch it off in the night as it was noisy! The room next door where our friends were staying didn't have one. The breakfasts were good, and the...

Its centrally located within walking distance to the shopping streets. rooms are smallish , basic but clean. hot water from the tap had a slight tinge of sulfur. staff were reasonably friendly. Double rooms are actually 2 twin beds joined together. We were out most of the time. On both night we stayed we were out to see the Northern...

The location of the hotel, the parking, and breakfast were all great aspects of the hotel. We also found the bartender to be very helpful and kind. He gave us great recommendations and answered our questions better than the others at the front desk who seemed to be disinterested. However, our room was incredibly dirty. The sheets and pillow cases...

Stayed for 5 nights from 22nd Feb and had a great time. The hotel is very comfortable, nice rooms (good heating in rooms which helps when you've been 'playing' in the snow and have damp clothes! ). Fabulous breakfast, lots of choice, fruits, yoghurts, cereals, different breads, ham, cheeses, cucumber & tomato, fish, biscuits, cakes, scrambled eggs, sausages and beans....

Nice basic hotel with everything one could need, All of the staff were very helpful and friendly , they helped with everything we asked for even though a lot of our requests were not hotel related, e.g. trips, language and transfers etc, I emailed requests prior to arrival all of these had been dealt with for us. We didn't have...

The location of the hotel, in a residential area, is only a short walk from Hallgrimskirkja and the main streets with bars and restaurants. We stayed for 5 nights and, after the initial surprise of the soulless room with its challenging spiral staircase leading to a mezzanine bed area, and the constant unpleasant smell of sulphur from the hot water...

We arrived on Feb 27th-just after the biggest February snowfall Reykjavic had since the 1930s. We were checked in quickly and went to our room, which was so bright.we thought the lights had been left on. They hadn't, but the windows ran the width of the room. It was a warm, clean room with coffee and tea-making facilities. The coffee...

When we arrived in Iceland there had been heavy snowfall. The whole area looked magical. We received a warm welcome at the hotel and our room was clean and quite spacious. Beds very comfortable. Continental breakfast was plentiful and relaxed. Considering you are staying in the city there was very little noise, however our room was at the back of...

Whilst we had a very enjoyable stay here (nice location and comfortable) we were quoted and paid the bill in Euros on check out. When we received our credit card statement however we were shocked to see it was over €110 more than expected, which meant about £90 out of pocket. The receptionist had used the wrong conversion rate we...

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially so when booking transfers etc. The hotel is clean and the rooms comfortable, but there is nowhere to really sit and relax and have a drink( if you can afford one!). There are seats in the foyer and some drinks behind reception. The room cleaning etc was strange. I had to ask for...
