Main pros: 1. Fantastic location 2. Very friendly staff (and it seems most speaks Polish). 3. Clean. 4. WiFi is fast and free. Cons: 1. Breakfast is good. But limited choice. The same every day. 2. Rather old hotel. 3. The room was quite small (single).

We stayed here overnight on our trip to Iceland before departing for our south coast trip. Booked a family room - there were four of us! We arrived very late at night and we were greeted by the very friendly man on the desk. Checked in and shown to our room - it was quite a trek. Room was on...

We stayed here on new years eve 2015 for one long night. The hotel was arranged with our approval by a reputable specialist travel company. I will not shame this travel company as this was the only issue in what was a great 4 day trip to this amazing country. The only positive points about this hotel are that it...

Booked through a northern lights tour so got quite a good deal especially as it was new years eve in the centre of the capital. Clean warm and comfortable and for the majority of the staff were very friendly and helpful regardless of the hour. Room had a "trendy" bare concrete unfinished theme but the shower was hot and powerful....

Dear Isa W, We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay here at the Best Western Hotel Reykjavik. Unfortunately the internet was turning off and on for two days over the new years period, but that problem is solved now. If you decide to return to Iceland, it would be our pleasure to accommodate you again.

We had booked to stay in the Best Western months before arrival but upon arrival we were told they had been overbooked and that we had to move to another hotel. We found it quite funny that they had been overbooked during a period where there would be some amazing views of the eclipse. I am 100% sure they bounced...

Spent a week here in the run up to New Year. Hotel situation is perfect for visiting the town centre. Staff really go the extra mile to help out with anything from where to go to how to get there. Breakfast team are amazing and the food is awesome.

Fantastic location, clean, friendly staff! This hotel made our holiday great! Only thing is that they only serve breakfast so nothing much to do in the hotel. But that is minor details! Would recommend and return!

In my opinion, the combination of price, service and the location was perfect for our stay at this property. I wouldn't say that it's centrally located, but it is definitely within a walking distance from any place you would want to visit in the city. The bus from the airport dropped us right in front of the hotel so this...

Bus from KEF will drop you off right at the hotel. Good location, room was clean, free buffet breakfast was good. Free wifi. Bathroom had a heated floor, which was glorious. But from my experience at the other places I stayed in Iceland, heated flooring seems to be pretty typical. Nothing spectacular, but no complaints either. A good home base...
