The apartment was clean with a great kitchen. It was walking distance to town. The bathroom floors were heated. It is across from an art museum. It was quiet at night. The price was reasonable. You can book online.

We just spent 2 nights at one of the Castle House Luxury apartments. Although it was on the small side, it was immaculate and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for walking to and from the local shops and restaurants. It was also very easy to get out to the highway for sightseeing by car. There was ample... More

This was a very clean place in a decent location next to the university so it didn't take too long to walk to town. Satellite TV and a nice sofa. Separate little kitchen. The bathroom is off the bedroom, so if you are a third person sleeping on the sofa, you will have to go through the bedroom, which can... More

I need to correct your statement that the Castle House is close to the university. Reykjavik is a small city so you might say everything is close to everything else, however the apartments are in the city centre so you it would take you around 20 minutes to walk to the University of Iceland and longer to the University of... The apartment is quite compact, but perfectly adequate. I wouldn't call it luxury though! The beds are comfortable. The sofa bed is comfortable to sit on, but we didn't try it out for sleeping on. The kitchen is adequately equipped with hob, kettle and microwave etc (as it says on the website), but there is no freezer - not even... More

We stayed in Apartment #4 for 2 nights at the tail end of our Icelandic vacation. The apartment was very clean, well-appointed, and centrally located. Being upstairs and in the front of the building (facing the lake) was a definite plus. The kitchenette had just the kinds of things we needed for a couple of days where we were eating... More

We just spent the first night in the apartment. While the room was very cosy and had everything we needed, I don't agree that the name Luxury applies. It's a bit small but very clean and good value as the location is perfect: it's located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood - just a 5-minute walk to the center where... More

We stayed two nights in the CastleHouse -- our first and last nights in Iceland-- in two different rooms. The suites are very small, but well equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The suites are not "luxury" but are very clean and well maintained and there was even a little bit of tea and milk for... More

The room was relatively spacious for Reykjavik. It's located in a quiet neighborhood and within a short walking distance to many restaurants and the harbor. We only stayed one night, but I'm sure it would be a good place to stay as a base for a longer period.

The property is conveniently located, close to the Reykjavik tourist zone, however, the immediate area is relatively quiet. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We had a one bedroom unit which afforded adequate space. The unit had a small kitchen, useful for small meals or snacks. Parking is closeby. The property has satellite television. There is no regular on site... More

We stayed here for over a week and these apartments were perfect for our needs. We had 3 days exploring Reykjavik and the central location meant that everywhere was easily walk-able. We then hired a car to explore further afield, the parking in the streets nearby is very easy and affordable, in fact several times we didn't need to pay... More
