This hotel was pretty average but don’t come to Reykjavik for the hotel stay. The staff was very friendly and recommended museums for us to visit as well direction to the local pool when asked. We arrived early in the morning and our room was not ready, which we expected, and the hotel held our luggage while we went on...

stayed here for 4 nights. Requested flowers, wine and chocolates for arrival due to it being valentines day and a celebration trip and they were in the room. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful, rooms clean - similar to a Travelodge/Premier Inn. Took some getting used to the sulphur smell in the bathroom when using the water. Ate in...

This was a little gem in a perfect location. About an hour from the airport, we checked in with 2 friends. All reception staff were very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. Not very big but what you would expect from a city hotel. The bathroom was more a wet room, very small which meant if you are of...

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 3 days in November. The hotel was in a brilliant location, litterally a short walk and you are on the main shopping street in Reykjavik. The hotel is pleasant enough, quite small rooms and the bathrooms do smell a little like sulphur when you shower. A minimal selection for breakfast but it was...

Hotel was our 3rd choice because of the booking agent taking the booking then cancelling, they actually done us a favour, it is just the right size to be personal but big enough to be professional as well. Within 300/400 yds of main shopping street and within easy walking to the promenade, it is opposite end of town to the...

I was staying at the hotel as part of a photography group tour for one night. The hotel is well located close to a central bus station and the “touristy” part of Reykjavik. Of course, the inability of the Icelandic capital to clear the ice away from the sidewalk might impact the ability to walk around the hotel. The room...

Basic rooms, but you're only there to sleep and wash right!? Double was actually two singles pushed together but clean and comfortable. Breakfast good. Staff very helpful and friendly and righted all the problems we had (thomson had made a right mess of our trips and transfers) best to book trips via hotel.

The location of this hotel was great for our travels. Room was small (we expected that) but certainly large enough for two. Staff were friendly. We arrived from airport at 7 am and were delighted to be allowed to check in and eat breakfast buffet. The hotel has a restaurant/bar. We ate dinner there one night--menu is pretty limited, but...

Does what it says on the tin it is a room with a comfy bed and a wardrobe to store all the warm clothes you are going to bring to Iceland. It is very warm at night so no warm PJ's needed. Brilliant wifi. The receptionists were especially helpful, they booked trips and knew about where to go to eat and...
