Hello Sam B.,
From the hotel towards Aðalstræti meaning main street, it is approximately 3.2 km away about a 35-min walk if you use the dedicated walking and biking path connecting through the shopping street Laugavegur.
If you decide to use the scenic Sculpture and Shore walk that would hug around the coastline towards the Harpa Conference and Concert Hall that will be approximately 4.1km about 50-min walk.
Best regards,
Hótel Ísland
