We traveled with friends on a group tour from Canada. This hotel was an "upgrade" we paid extra for based on the Raddison chain name. HUGE mistake , we paid extra for less. Our rooms were not ready until after 3:30 pm when we were told they would be ready by 2 at latest - after flying all night it...

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. The furniture was a bit dated but the room was clean and a good size for European standards. Although the hotel wasn't located downtown, it was only 15 mins away from restaurants and the shopping area. The breakfast buffet was quite good and there was a...

We arrived at the hotel at around 9:30 AM. Realizing that this was prior to the normal check-in time, we intended to leave our luggage and go "out and about" in Reykjavík. When I approached the front desk, I was informed that an early check-in would be available. That sounded inviting since we had been traveling overnight and a shower...

My wife and I stayed here last week and have nothing but praise and good comments for this hotel. You know what to expect in a Radisson and this was no exception. The hotel is a little tired and needs refurbishment but they are already working on this. Our room was on the 5th floor and was spacious, comfortable and...

We arrived at this hotel thinking we were miles from anywhere but In fact you are only a short 5-10 min walk from downtown. The hotel itself is really clean and tidy with the rooms being cleaned each day . The staff are friendly and willing to help at a moments notice . The food is really good and quite...

We stayed in a business suite with breakfast included with our stay. The staff is great and always willing to help. Upon arriving at the hotel we found out that our hotel reservation was cancelled and that we didn't have a room. The manager Heida was wonderful to deal with, she got us a room right away and told us...

What to say for a supposedly upmarket chain ... reception and bar area nice enough but en route to our room it went downhill, wallpaper peeling off on the approach to our room. The room was cramped and tired with the bed being pushed up to the wall reminiscent of being in a caravan. The bathroom was equally in need...

The hotel is ok, barely. It's getting old, it smells like sulfur, but it still costs 250 Euros per night. The wifi does not work at the gym. Breakfast is ok, but don't hope for gluten free bread. The staff is also very helpful.

The mattress was slanted making me roll to one side and the water smelled sulfuric but I guess that is normal for Iceland. It was a decent sized room and the staff were all friendly, The bar had a good happy hour and the bartender made a good mojito. Hotel is near the center of town where all the restaurants...

A really beautiful hotel. The room had a fantastic view over the city and was perfect for watching the sun rise in the mornings. All the tours we had booked were able to pick us up straight from the outside drop off/pick up area, and we were just a short walk from the city centre. We especially recommend the dinner...
