Pros: Purchased a 7 am check in through Icelandair, beds were comfortable, staff was very helpful.
Neutral: Rooms were basic in design and amenities.
Cons: It was outside of the city center so you had to taxi or take the hotel shuttle.
After looking around for hotels, we decided that we'd prefer to not be right downtown. We're glad we chose this hotel. It was about a fifteen minute walk to downtown, though we usually drove. It was very quiet and the price/rooms were great. Great lobby...More

Hello Lisa, and thank you for your question.
The international airport (KEF) is located in Keflavik, the Blue Lagoon in Grindavík, and we are in Reykjavik, located at the domestic airport (RVK).
We are about 45 minutes away from both the international airport and the Blue Lagoon, On your way from our hotel to the international airport of Keflavik, the Blue Lagoon would be a 10 minute (one way) drive). If you would not take the exit to the Blue Lagoon, you (also) still have about a 10 minutes drive to the airport.
Hopefully this helps.
Kind regards,
